Oystercatcher - Penarth - Photo album

Comparing this place to my local (Flying Horse, Manchester). The portion was more for a child. Received Garden peas when ordered Mushy. Think the staff may have had a busy day & looking to go home. Seating area outside where we were is good with little shed booths too. Briefly visited the toilet whi
A reasonably good pub with great prices. Plenty of space and a great beer garden next to the river. I really love the surroundings and can't complain as the prices are very reasonable. The food is quite good but the grilled Mediterranean sea bass was a bit disappointing. Although they serve three go
Hi, dropped in for a quick bit to eat and a pint, I was served by David, he was very helpful. The food was lovely and pipping hot, and I had a pint of Old Speckled Hen, which was served at the correct temperature, and was excellent. Will definitely be back
Very busy when I was there, we used the app to order. Drinks were fast and the food was brought to our table in good time. Food was hot and cooked well. Staff were nice and helpful. All in all I will be using this restaurant again
Hungry horse pub so always has great offers on with great competitive prices and great value for money Great menu that caters for everyone of all ages and dietary needs.. Great place to take the family for a meal. Food was great and tasty.
Fantastic customer service! They couldn’t do more to be helpful! They even rescued my phone that had fallen down into the booth, Thankyou so much to the manager! Food was lovely too & great value for money!
I came here for food yesterday & was greeted by Chloe k, Chloe was very helpful & couldn’t do enough for us. I had the chicken New Yorker followed by the chocolate fudge cake and it was lovely. Will definitely be returning soon.
If in the area...it’s a must visit public house, serving excellent food, with an outside eating area and children’s play area. Good size car park...close to Tesco and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.
Very welcoming. We informed immediately of products not available. We had rung ahead and booked a table, James on the phone was brilliant and the staff on during our visit were brilliant too. The gents could do with a spot of tlc and decorating. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful food at a realistic price with friendly, efficient staff. Whole visit marred by uncontrolled children running around the dining area. Disabled toilet pan not securely mounted and rocks when in use. Could be dangerous.
Recently came to this restaurant with myself and my dad for a quick bite to eat and we were welcomed by Connor with a happy smile, quick and easy order off the greene king app i had the steak cooked perfectly medium rare and my dad had the same. Will be looking to book around December for the Christ
Come here quite a lot, the food is always good - compliments to all the chefs in the kitchen who are all amazing. James is always a massive help, especially whilst hosting and on the Bar. Gavin is really friendly and polite. In general the team at the oystercatcher is just amazing.
Had a great meal here on a Sunday, it was very busy but still didn't have to wait very long for food. The food was great and the price was amazing, 2 Sunday lunches for £15.00. Definately recommend.
Generally good, friendly staff with relatively cheap food. What is really annoying is that they randomly change the menu so that the daily offers change and you can never really be certain what deals are available. Recently the burger buns have been soooo dry at the Oyster Catcher that it makes you
Excellent service and food was fantastic would definitely recommend! Gavin and James were very friendly and welcoming
What a lovely place to eat. The staffs are really good and food is delicious. If you coming all the way from Cardiff Bay and walking towards embankment that would be perfect place to have fish and chips. Beautiful surrounding and lovely view.
Great beer garden with a small park mainly for small children. Couple of outside huts and parasols to find the shade. Good price beers and ciders, average food but still decent for the cheap prices. Staff seem friendly enough. In short ideal place to grab some food and a beer or two
