Cozy atmosphere with real fireplace. Had an epic Sunday roast here. It was probably the best one I’ve had in a restaurant so far. Tender meat, crispy roast veg, and feather-light Yorkshire pudding. Also the dessert was delicious. I must return for the sea views in the summer!
A revamped menu and refurbished pub. Food is good if on the pricey side with highlights being the beef shin and pizza. Service is good but not brilliant... For the prices I'd expect better. Just needs a few tweaks to bring it all together …

Had a fantastic meal at The Captain’s Wife in Cardiff! The food was delicious, the seaside views were stunning, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A special shoutout to our waitress Leanne, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She truly made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Food was absolutely delicious! Our server Isaac was so lovely and accommodating, he definitely made our experience and will be visiting again hoping to see him again x
