Had a lovely meal with friends. The food was well-presented and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. Very friendly and professional staff made sure we enjoyed our visit.
Lovely place, I was surprised on how much room there was. Able to eat outside and under an awning. The pub itself has 2 floors, I was downstairs. Staff were fantastic and friendly, the food was excellent. Menu has a wide choice and drinks. Toilets upstairs and downstairs. There is a small play area
Went during the summer, the double cheese burger with sweet potato fries tasted amazing but could get a little difficult hold in one piece, the peanut butter stack for dessert tasted exactly like a large snickers cake with ice cream, the service was very welcoming and quick however one of our orders
The food was really good. I really reccomend the Gower burger (lamb burger with brie and chilli jam). The restaurant had a big variety on the menu however, if you're a picky eater you may have to change the meals slightly. There was a good park for children and the atmosphere was really lively. The
This is a lovely, friendly pub and the food is excellent. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit. We had Gower chicken and a couple of bottles of wine. All the food coming out looked good.
Great play park for children. Food is reliable and good range of options. Proper pizza oven baked pizzas too. Gower Brewery supplied so always good choices at the bar plus more. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Several TVs in the sports bar showing the main sporting events of the time.
Booked a table for a Sunday roast for 6. Great choice and welcoming service. Lots of food and really good value for money.
A perfect on-side-of-the-road find! We chose from the two-course lunch menu. Got starters (falafel and chicken goujons), and went for a burger and a curry. Everything was delicious! Enjoyed a Gower Gold with it :)
It could have been the warm company I was with but I felt thoroughly welcomed in this pub. I had a great roast served promptly with my beer. There were about seven of us with kids and I didn't hear one complaint. So glad this place is doing so well.
We had really excellent service from our waitress Caitlin last night. The food on the whole was good & pretty good value It arrived quickly & everything was piping hot. The chips were a bit soggy but the Gower Chicken & the deep fried cockles & lava bread were both excellent.
Pleasantly surprised. Walked in an had immediate "chain" vibes. TVs everywhere, table numbers, decor etc all screamed chain, however the food and service was very good. The salmon and pie was high standard. The brownie for dessert was delicious. Loved that they were using local businesses also. De
My son decided to book The Rake and Riddle for my husband and I who celebrate our Wedding Anniversary today. We have eaten there before today and know that the food is good quality and delicious. The Staff work very hard to maintain a very good standard of service. Incidentally our party was
Perfect. Food was delicious. I had the lamb burger and it was lovely. Plenty of screens for the sport that was on too. Service great and food came quickly. Can't complain at all.
It's one of my absolute favourite places to eat in Swansea. I took my family there after my graduation. There was something for all of us, including my brother, who has a highly restricted diet. The staff were so lovely. The specials board always has something tempting. I had the braised beef from t
Cider was beautiful, food quality was really nice. Really lovely beer garden and play area for the kids was nice.
Surprisingly spacious restaurant. Ell designed interior. Friendly, helpful staff and a varied menu which also includes a specials board. Great food.Separate bar and dining areas. Play area for children outside. Plenty of parking. Excellent venue!
My sister and myself meet up every wed for lunch over the years we have been to many places to eat but we always end up coming back here ...food is beautiful and reasonable We aways eat upstairs in the sports bar . Dogs are welcome and always made welcome . Lovely cosy atmosphere.
The restaurant is lovely and the food was good but it did take a long time to arrive. We were a large group though! Service was a little slow. We were told we would need to order at the table because we were downstairs but we had to go get our own drinks a few times (which is fine) as the waitress
We booked a table for 3 for 2pm on a Sunday. The Restaurant is down stairs and we were greeted with warm welcome and were taken to our table promptly. On Sunday, they only serve Sunday dinner, with a choice of 1-3 courses (£9.95-£15.95). The staff were attentive and friendly, took our orders on a t
