Access for Hotel Guests on private roads BETWEEN North & South Tebay Services (check hotels website FAQ), Good check in, very good comfortable beds and 2 chairs. Plenty of parking although spaces narrow. Could well become our favourite stopover on M6.
Overnight stay due to work. Didn't turn up till nearly 9 but they fitted me in the restaurant although it was just about to close. Rooms were nice, clean and looked recently refreshed. Lovely location and convenient being on the services. Would definitely stay there again. Thumbs up from me.
I stayed here for 1 night enroute back from Scotland. Arrived just before the restaurant closed and the very attentive staff managed to find me a table for a 2 course meal and a beer. Lovely setting, lovely lounge to sit and read a book and a well appointed room. Excellent veggie breakfast and I was
Our go to lunch stop off when heading to Scotland. Drive past the service station up to the hotel for a quiet (no crowds), sit down meal with great views. I had haddock, chips, mushy peas with tartar sauce, the family had: pie of the day (turkey, ham & leek), chips & cabbage; salt beef sandwich; and
My family and I came to stay here last year on our way to Scotland. The rooms, food, location and service was amazing and we loved it so much we came again this year!! Absolutely wonderful stay.
Lovely hotel situated just off the M6 at the famous tebay services but feels like it's in the middle of the countryside.
Beautiful views, large rooms, giant beds. Hotel has a resteraunt and a nice little lounge with a small bar, perfect for a nice little overnight after a long motorway drive.
The
Superb hotel. Warm room in -7 deg c Cumbria . Lovely breakfast although I do not get the serving a tomato instead of beans with the breakfast. It’s a fruit ! That is almost a crime !Service a bit slow at brekkie but really a great place to stay if heading north or south overnight . Ideal location an
Lovely hotel, and excellent food. Worth a slight detour to stay here from the coast to coast route.
Nice people. Very pretty and clean.
The twin beds slide around a lot which was annoying and uncomfortable. The view from our window was great until you looked down and saw rubbish.

Not your usual hotel at a services, really nice and away from the services so no vehicle noise.
The room was clean and adequate for our needs.
Bathroom - no extractor fan so mirror steamed up and stayed steamed and this accounts for the blackening around the shower.
Mum wasn't impressed with the 'hu
We had a lovely stay in a crafted double room. Lovely comfy bed and stunning view from the window. The bar area in the hotel was very nice with an open fire and I loved the Tirril draft beer…please keep that on for when I return! The young lad serving in the bar was very good too.
Good hotel in a fantastic location. Shame no gym but then I wasn't there for leisure and couldn't head out for a walk in the stunning hillside
Second time here. Large rooms with everything you could want. Excellent restaurant - book early. Friendly courteous staff.
Great over night stop on our way north, lovely room with ample space for a family of four. Lovely shortbread in the room also.
Perfect stopping point, the rooms are superb with comfortable beds. The restaurant food was amazing.
Will be back
We had a crafted room, which was very nice. It's conveniently located out the back of Tebay Services (North, but you can get to it from the South too). Has plenty of parking. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Nice comfortable lounge/bar area and dinning room. The food was good and inexpensiv
Excellent hotel, with tastefully designed, comfortable rooms.
Delightful, friendly staff.
Superb restaurant serving one of the best steaks I've ever had, which like all of their fare is either produced from their farm, or sourced very locally.
Next too, but sufficiently, distanced from the excellent
It was a nice friendly hotel, and a very dog friendly place. The food was good.
