So glad we found this place.
Food, we stayed for both evening meal and breakfast, was superb! Staff were obviously very busy, a hen do was in full swing, but they were still cheery and helpful.
The room was lovely, clean and cosy. Bed was super comfy. Shower was good, good power and good temperature

Excellent food at this restaurant/hotel in downtown Penrith. The menu is an interesting mix of pub food and Mediterranean flair. I had chicken shwarma, hummus, and Mumbai potatoes. So tasty. Prices were decent but worth the cost. You get a lot for what you pay. It's definitely worth a visit.

Went in for lunch on a Friday, it was very busy so service could have been a little quicker but friendly and pleasant.
Excellent menu with lots of different choices whether for a main meal or just a snack. Food was very good.

Great place. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Superb bed which gave me great nights sleep. And plenty of parking - despite being right in the centre of Penrith. WiFi in room 10 wans't brilliant, though. Oh, and it was good value. And close to the Lake District which itself didn't disappoint.

We had breakfast which looked really nice but unfortunately it wasn’t as tasty as it looked (The poached eggs were boiled and the bacon overcooked). We stayed overnight. The room was very comfortable alittle noisy with traffic in the morning but not a problem for us. A local band was playing, brilliant evening all done and silent my 10pm absolute bliss😊
Private car Park is plus although it is not directly connected to the property. A very busy venue,the staff are very friendly. Did find waiting nearly 45mins for breakfast a bit too long. Breakfast was very good though.
Been coming the lakes since I was very young this time I was working away from home and found the lounge. The lounge was fabulous the food was amazing and staff are lovely I can’t recommend the place another I will definitely be coming back. The cocktails are lovely too and the price are affordable
