Ichiban Sushi

Every time I'm in the area and in the mood for Sushi, I find myself in Ichiban. Their rolls are exactly what you expect them to be, the ramen used to be better but is still really good, and there's usually a table available (unless you're coming in at a typically busy time). What brings this review to 5 stars, however, is the staff - each and every one of them are wonderful and make you feel at home. They are genuine and friendly, and are always happy to help. The white-haired woman, who I believe is the head manager (or owner!) frequently checks on the customers and is always doing her best to make sure everyone is enjoying their meal. This is a fantastic place for Sushi in Penrith, and is always a delight to visit. See you again soon!

Was a good place for dinner with friends, sushi was average unless fresh obviously on the belt you cant tell which ones havent been going around for too long as belt isnt cool either just room temperature. Needs more variety of the $3 sushi plates couldnt find one we liked so basically spent $4.50 per sushi plate for the good ones Enjoyed our evening here but if your slow you won't have a seat probably seats 25 people comfortably

Beautiful fresh sushi, and beautiful lovely people who always make me feel welcome. I recommend checking out the menu and trying special rolls (maki) like the spider crab, salmon & cream cheese, creamy prawn and the different salmon ‘ships’. The kitchen also prepares excellent mains like ramen, rice bowls (don) and delicious fried chicken (karaage). You can even find meat buns in the menu!
