Went here to watch live football. Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff who were well educated about the drinks on offer. Great selection to choose from. Would recommend the tiki fire spiced rum for anyone brave enough! The food was very good quality and the portions were generous.
Lovely place for a night out
Great place to go in evenings for a drink. There are plenty of measures taken to ensure that social distancing and COVID rules are followed, so patrons can rest assured knowing that health and safety clearly comes first here. I had a great time and felt very welcomed.
Such a friendly atmosphere, we have been coming along to the free quiz on a Thursday night and have been made to feel very welcome and laughed a lot!! Food during the week has been great. Had a Sunday roast today which was huge, and the nicest tasting we have had in a long time, we will definitely be booking here again. Got to watch the Moto GP on their BT Sports whilst having a roast- I was in heaven!
Food is absolutely brilliant the new menu is smashing, the atmosphere is good, it’s a very local pub but the regulars make you fee one of their own, despite what others have heard they DO NOT discriminate against anyone and are actually quite the opposite I would recommend this pub/restaurant/hotel to anyone whatever age or creed
Very friendly pub. We were staying nearby on holiday and popped in a couple of times for a drink. Very friendly staff and customers. Good atmosphere, didnt try the food but looked very reasonably priced.
Booked this very late, but was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The rooms and toilets were clean and well presented. The location was convenient for Falmouth, but also for trip out to other locations in Cornwell.
I was a bit afraid of the noise but the bar closes at 23 hrs and the street is quiet. Price a bit high for the accomodation - no private bathrooms - but not bad at all. And well located in the heart of Penryn town.
Always a great experience to go there! Good vibes, good food on the days they serve food, and good people.
Stayed at this hotel whilst working in the area,really friendly place to stay , the hosts and bar staff were excellent, the food was also of a seriously high standard ,would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to everyone !!!#topnotch!!
