After looking for a lovely cafe for breakfast on our journey home, we found Betty Berkins just of the A55 (with free parking). With lovely staff, beautiful cafe and lush breakfast it was a great choice. Thank you ✨

Well the 5 star card had to come out for this place (don't happen very often). Just 3 minutes off the A55, easy parking, great location and dog friendly. Food beautiful, Veggie and Vegan options, staff great, hygiene very good.
Shop next door has a great selection of locally made gifts. I ended up spending more than expected, its great to see such skill and dedication in one place.
Cakes made locally on-site, recently the cafe has won an award for the trifle for the Queens Jubilee this year.
Nice local 30 minute walk down to a couple of lakes and yes you can go fishing.
Also hairdressers now on-site make a day of it.
Super breakfast for 6 of us and a doggy sausage for the hound. Only 4 stars for atmosphere because there was a loud chime over our table every time the door opened (I presume) which was a bit of a nuisance. Wonderful place though. Very welcoming and accommodating (we were late for breakfast but the staff were still happy to serve us).
This was an oasis. We needed a proper cup of coffee and we discovered this on our way home from Anglesey. We had our dog with us, we asked if he was allowed. There was an area which the lady checked with the customers already there. Marley behaved until we were ready to leave. As the lady came to collect our empty plates he lunged, he had not done this on the two previous occasions first the coffee then the lunch(he was on his lead). Until then he had behaved beautifully as was normal.We feel mortified as she was naturally upset. We would love to visit again but would maybe sit outside. It would be a pity to miss this amazing place.

Great little find. Off the beaten track and really popular. Option of sitting inside or outside. The team are really friendly and accommodating. We had brunch, there were various options on the menu ie soup & sandwiches, welsh rarebit. The cakes looked amazing too, if a quick coffee & cake is your preference. Service was really quick. Definitely recommend and will return.
Absolutely gorgeous breakfast 😋 (we arrived 15 mins before opening but still served right away) need to come back for cake soon 😀
Lovely coffee shop, just off the A55 and between Holywell and Flint. The food and coffee is excellent and the place is very popular at peak times. If you are going with a group of friends, it would be best to book a table. The coffee shop is down a lane and they also have a shop beside it.
Always helpful, friendly staff and a wide range of beautiful cakes for customers to choose from. Interior is nicely decorated and outdoor seating is available, which is my preference, due to the pleasant countryside location. If you do not fancy cake, then they also serve a selection of nice breakfast and lunch meals. Would recommend.
Since writing this review, I have returned many times and I have never been disappointed. The breakfasts and lunches here are amazing and their cakes are the best around.
