Oh WOW!! What an absolute gem of a find and so easily missed. I wouldn't have been at all surprised to find Long John Silver or some smugglers having a tankard of ale, the atmosphere was amazing, even more amazing was the food. Absolutely delicious. Home made cornish pasty tasted out of this world. The cornish cream tea... with home made scone was sooo delicious. Holly, I think the owners name is... you are wonderful. Spilled a little bit of jam on the floor, but as it was 640 years old, a little dollop of jam wouldn't make much difference I was told. People reading this, you simply MUST visit and have a bite or drink.

Cafe with stone walls and rustic furniture. Nice and friendly staff. We enjoyed the stop on our walk from Penzance to Mousehole. We had some nice food & Lattes to take away!

Brilliant little place just off the main stretch. They serve brilliant cream teas and were easily the best we've found. Lovely setting and active history. The staff were very welcoming and friendly too!

Joined a friend for a belated, birthday evening treat. Service was attentive from the minute we walked through the door. Loved the relaxed, casual atmosphere. Food was fresh, tasty and well presented. I look forward to a return visit.

Just make sure you're hungry and ready to eat a large meal if you're not just having tea and scones/cake. Lovely ladies running it. Will be back in June 2020. See you then :-)

Nice quirky little tea room. Cream tea was nice and daughter enjoyed her cheese and ham toastie. Service was fine although one of the staff members seemed a bit abrupt at times.

Interesting old building. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious cream tea - gorgeous scones. It was a treat to stop off here, a place with real character rather than your ten a penny cafes.
