Review Royal Nawaab London - Perivale

This fine establishment has the best south Asian food in London. Amazing customer service provided and great atmosphere. Staff ensured we were provided for and food was delightful. We were especially surprised with Tauseer he ensured we were happy and fed well. All the staff were amazing !

98% dishes are excellent and perfectly cooked and extremely delicious. Faisal and Tauseer are the two servers who did an excellent service and served us a lot. They both are really amazing person. Thanks to them and Royal as Royal Cusines.

Never seen more buffet choice in my life! This place has it all. I am not traditionally into spicy food but this was not the case here. This was the best service I have received in a long time. The staff are super friendly, attentive and they clean your table in no time!

Excellent table service from Sanan, very helpful, made us feel like home. Food was nice with great taste, a bit congested because of a busy saturday, Took a while to find car Park at basement. Tight space for too many guests, I hope this should be addressed in future.

Overall, Royal Nawaab seems to be a popular restaurant with good food and service. Tauseer was our waiter and he was excellent. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He also gave us some great recommendations for dishes to try.

Very surprised by this restaurant. Wasn't expecting too much as it is a buffet restaurant but was very surprised by the food. Loads of options for everyone. There wasn't one stand out dish I had but all of it was a good level. Service was outstanding, very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again.

Great place, awesome food and great service by waiter Wajahat. Pitty that I have only one stomach - it's stuffed already and still so many meals I haven't tried.

We were quite regular here before Covid. After Covid went first time. This is always our favourite place for buffet dinner with lots and lots of variety. We started with snacks like panipuri, chaat, variety of salads. Later skipped Chinese as its not a for such food, didn’t look appealing. Starters like lamb chapli kebab, chicken reshmi kebab were the best among almost 10-15 non-veg/veg snack items. We loved many mains - dal ghost, namkeen ghost, taka tak, tawa chicken were among them. Their butter naans were very soft and lovely meat pulao obviously was another notable dish. Then went to desserts- ever favourite gulab jamun & ice cream combination worth trying, jelly is kids favourite. Overall at least 60-70 varieties you can try and to be honest it’s not possible to taste everything in one go. Though we believe dishes were much better before Covid, but still someone wants buffet with this humongous options not a bad choice. Plenty of seating area (200+) and plenty of car parking spaces makes easier for us. Touseer was one of the service staff who served us, he was helpful. If anyone going in a big group, worth trying seat booking.

Really great service and a wide variety of food. The staff really were fantastic especially the chefs! We got to try so many dishes and the whole experience was great. Came away a bit too full!

Worst place to Go for iftar, they hve no organisation skills how to seat people. No dates provided for iftar as they ran out. Not prepared for the amount of people they cater for. Then wait a hour to get the food as they seat you upstairs and mke u go down to get the food when there are 300 people already waiting for their food. Emailed a complaint but no reply to that too!!!! All about money for the manager of Nawaab.

I found it well below the expectation considering the publicity. 1= Food. Quantity & variety plenty with average quality and below average presentation. 2= Seatining very congested and awful. This make it worse when one has to maouver between tables with plate full food. 3=being sufferer of knee pains, found out it painful to go downstairs for food. Why couldn't they set up buffet table on seating level? Probably to make more money with extra seats. 4=Staff attitude needs to be improved. As per website info, they had disable parking spaces but I was refused entry and directed to Tesco carpark. There the attended told me there is no disable space left and directed me back to main area. I was made to wait 5 minutes before someone came out and asked me to park next to refuse bin. I could see at least 5 disable space near the gate blocked with barriers. 5=Only one standard size (4 ft) main door for in / out. Chaos every where and staff didn't care. 6=Place is not family / disable friendly as people with buggy and wheelchair were struggling. People kept getting hot by buggies. 7= Only one lift serving the whole building and no lift access to food area. Conclusion: Avoid by all means as it is NOT worth £20 per head. You can find lot better placed cheaper than £20.

We had been asked to leave. Although we were trying to test each flavour of the dish. I went to the Manchester Nawab that is big they did not ask us to leave. We enjoyed the time there. I will not even think of coming again to Royal Nawab London.

One of the best buffet I ever had ... Countless varieties ... Indian & Pakistani cuisines 😍 hard to manage space for my breaths 😂😂😂

Yesternite I was there with my hubby and most of food items weren't upto the mark. Kebabs undercooked, soup stale and curries served cold. ACs didn't seem to work, the hall was humid. Only desserts tasted good. The food is dirty enough to cause food poisoning.

Tasteless food. Rubbish service and too much disgusting thing they do. If you need lamb chops or other thing they keep them behind and without any name mentioning and if you ask give you only 2 pieces or 1 piece of fish. Make you feel bad. Not even a single thigh has taste. Worst experience ever. Never recommended

Firstly can I say I attended on the evening of Eid day so I was expecting it to be busy. Getting there - if you're driving it's straight forward. Leave your car parked in the Tesco car park, it's bigger and more space but more importantly it's FREE for the first 3 hours. And walking from Tesco car park to Nawabs is about 30 seconds. Venue - very big. Organisation - on busy nights it's like a zoo. A mixture of Asian people not understanding instructions and what an orderly queue is to security staff miscommunicating instructions to customers. At certain areas in the reception people were squashing one another. Accessibility - families with buggies need to leave these at home or in the boot of your car because on busy days it's a struggle. And for wheelchair users I didn't see any ramps. I'm assuming wheelchair users have different access areas, you will need to double check. Toilets - I never needed to go so I'm unable to comment on cleanliness. Service - it was ok. You can accept on manic nights you won't get attentive service. Quality of food - my family enjoyed it. But I've never been a fan of Pakistani Punjabi style cooking. The kebabs were very very spicy. You had a few children friendly dishes. Deserts are ok. Price is £20 per adult £10 per child buffet which could be lower but for Eid no one will grumble. Overall we had an ok time, the main point is family being together sharing a meal. I might go back there on a less busy night.

Visited this place with a group of friends rich ambience, welcoming interiors, they charge around 21£ per head, wide variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods, they focus mainly on Indian and Pakistani cuisine they also had few other cuisines as well.

Taste wise everything was too good, especially their chapli kebab, lamb nihari, reshmi kebab were just mind blowing.

If you are a heavy eater and craving for some desi food then this place is for you.

They do have a separate prayer room.

Royal Lunch. The lovely atmosphere had very good buffets after a long time. Foodie try once and enjoy the Lamb/Chicken curries authentically prepared.

Amazing place and Amazing staff, specially how the situation was handled yesterday evening. I would also like to add, some customers really need to be banned for getting aggressive with the staff and other customers. Specially the couple today who were very rude and racist towards one of the managers and called them the P word and then had the audacity to say they were not going to pay. I think it was very professionally handled by the staff. Well done Royal Nawaab.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK AN EVENT

After just completing my Nikkah (marriage ceremony) on Thursday (21st Feb19), I am compelled to write this review to share my absolute disgust with the way in which Nawaabs managed one of the most important days of my life.

When I had my first meeting to discuss the event, I was greeted so well and they installed confidence in me that I was making the right choice. Everything I requested for, was met with the simple response 'yes it can be done don't worry'. The exact words every person wants to hear.

Although our requests were not big, I had one very small ask, which was for them to provide hot water for our guests. On the night of the event, when the party was in full swing wewe ask the floor manager to provide us with hot water. They told us 'we do not have any hot water or even a kettle to boil water' and suggested that they can 'microwave water' for us. Coming for a restaurant that has 5 star health and safety raitings, that suggestion was apoling. Having to think for my supposed floor manager I then suggested that they boil water on a stove, in the end our guest were not provided with any hot water.

Furthermore on the topic of water, we had a very young children that started choking, one of our guests went to the staff and asked for water the repeatedly refused the request when they could physically see a young child in discomfort choking and gasping for air. We had to run out the venue and collect bottles of water, thankfully the young is OK. No thanks to Nawaabs.

Moving away from requests and going on to the 'promises' Nawaabs made. They promised we would have security on our door. We witnessed over 30 uninvited members of public gate crash our event eat our food, drink our tea and leave.

Also I myself the groom, from the stage witnessed there own staff members eating our guests food from the dessert table. Even are supposed security guard came in the the venue as I was saying bye to my guests and right infront of me helped himself to our tea and coffee.

Nawaabs also promised that they would cut our wedding cake and distribute it guests when the desserts were served. We asked the floor manager 5 times to cut the cake and serve it, the requests were ignored and we went home with a full wedding cake!

I went to Nawaabs yesterday to explain everything that had happened, it took nearly 30 mins for me to get an apology. I was told it would be looked into and I will be taken care of when I book another event. Nawaabs got my hard earned money, the money that alot of people break there backs to save to try to put on the best even for there family and friends. Nawaabs completely ruined our day, didn't want to even acknowledge there lack of care and provided an apology that was not sincere and completely false.

I now feel it is my duty to warn anyone thinking about booking this event, please leave from my experience. They promise you everything before you pay, sell you a dream as soon as they have your money. You treated like you don't even exist, your wedding doesn't even matter and your just another payday.

I beg everyone that has booked to reconsider, go elsewhere there are plenty of venues out there that are much better, pricing is good and food quality amazing.

Finally to Mr Nawaab, I will be taking this further than a complaint, your words don't mean anything and your actions show where your priorities lay. I am going to make it my absolute priority to make sure you never let this happen again to any other couple!

It a place for foodies specially for non veg lovers ,the quality of food and deserts are top class , service is good.it really gets crowdy on weekends.go for it if you are food lover .
Comida Deliciosa
It a very good value for money buffet. The options are very good with many options in lamb and chicken. My personal favourites are the Haleem and Nihari. I also enjoy the sweet dishes here. The waiting time can be very irritating especially if you visit on a weekend.

I had heard great things about Nawaab in Manchester. First time I went with family I was left feeling very very disappointed. The service was terrible. We were 15minutes early for our reservation and had to wait 39mins for a table. We were not alone, their waiting area (which although very nice) was overful. Nowhere for my 80year old mum to sit or a kid on crutches! I vowed never to return especially since the food was average at best... Terrible experience.

I have however visited twice afterwards, friends had got together and the experience was only marginally better. The waiting, and service is crap. The price is cheap, but for cheaper Southall has better food and service options.
I have been invited a few times since, and would rather meet afterwards.
Having travelled globally and being a foodie, can surely say this is the restaurant where you get value for money and mouth watering food spread for Buffet.

Ambience and service is truly royal.

For non vegetarians, this place is a must visit if you are in London. For vegetarians, it will neither disappoint.

Two words - Just Go....

Nawab has tons of options to choose from. Anything we tried was good. Staff was friendly and we didnt have an issue. Except sometimes it would take little bit bedore they would bring water or Pepsi.
My fav. are
Chapali Kabob
Masala Fries
Lamb chops
Namkeen Salan
Roghni naan
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Amazing food specially the starters.
I would like the main course with more spice and flavours also the lasagne and pasta didnt meet my expectation. Haleem and nihari was quiet nice.
Polite and helpfull staff.
Good ambience.
Will surely reccommmend and visit again soon.
Perhaps the best South Asian buffet in town primarily owing to it’s mammoth variety and not taking away much from it’s taste and quality of food. The kababs can be a bit dry and the staff hospitality is not at par. Apart from that it’s a heaven for buffet lovers. The exhaustive desserts spread deserves a special mention!

They ruined my valentines evening.
Terrible experience and customer service. Will never go there again. They gave me the wrong curry (giving me some bitter tasting curry instead of the lamb curry I ordered, it even looked like the right colour) on my takeaway order or 2 different currys and some starters and then refused to refund me when I went back to complain. They insist you have to check your order before you leave. How am supposed to go through the entire order back checking all the curry's I ordered to make sure they taste right ? The wrong curry they gave me even looked like the curry they were supposed to give me. They take no responsibility for their errors. They dont deserve any customers, I will never go there again.

Visited this place yesterday the 28th of October 2017 with family, by far one of the best places for eatery for asian food. the bbq was piping hot and seemed fresh and tasted authentic, I particularly loved their pakoras, and spring rolls, chapli kabab, haleem, pulao rice. kiddos loved the chicken wings and fried chicken. overall a wonderfull experince and worth an hours wait. will surely be coming back again...

Good buffet serving all kinds of food - Haleem, Nihari, lamb Steak, Tawa fish 🐟, shahi tukda is the best among the deserts. It's worth a visit 👍🏽

Royal Nawab restaurant is one of the awful and disgusting restaurant in london. We went with our family , the food was too greasy and the staff were disrespectful. Going to this restaurant is just wasting your money. We will never go to this restaurant again!

Nirdeep Kaur
Amazing service and helpful as we lost an expensivr stuff and they returned it to us.

There was enough variety to eat and loved the kheer.

Thank you.

I've been there twice now. The food options are amazing and each dish is well cooked. Although its a bit crowded, and you often have to wait 30 minutes for a table, you can still enjoy yourself there.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to score it above 2.5 because of an extremely rude member of staff. If you can deal with rude staff, then you'll love it here otherwise there are other options.

Pure quality Asian buffet.

I love this place! I can tell it would be super packed on Ramadan!

I mean I checked in on a Saturday around 6pm and we had to wait at least 15min until a table was free. You can usually dine in for (80min) and we paid (£25) each peak times excluding drinks. Pricey? Meh,, it's a quality unlimited buffet where you can constantly restock till your 80mins up? So it was worth it! But let's be 'realistic' here.. There's no way you're going to finish off your plate. There's such a wide selection from starts to main course to sauces to dips and salads (I mean I was feeling full after the starter) but I'm defiantly going back to try everything else 😋😋

The staff are very respectful and attentive to you at the same time.

I definitely recommend this place. In fact, by the time we left the que was out to the door. Word of mouth people word of mouth.. This place has regular customers but the most recommend is the Manchester branch. Soon إن شاء الله

An amazing buffet of Pakistani food.

The buffet plus a soft drink is approximately £20 a head (on a weekday). Expensive but worth every penny! We tend to go for special occasions - like birthdays.

There is no way you can try all the items - there are just too many. Personal favourites are the starters & desserts.

There serve some items on the back counters - which are a must try. For example, lamb chops, tawa chicken, takatak & Haleem.

By the time I've worked my way through the starters & these...there is no space for anything else.

My family recommend the halwa puri, nihari, saag & makka di roti too.

Besides the desert counter, the kids love the continental counter where you can get pizza, pasta & chips - amongst other things.

No matter how much you try to pace yourself or take small portions - you're going to struggle & walk away stuffed to the gills :)
Food Diaries London
Pakistani food in absolute abundance!! Buffets are usually really poor quality but NOT this place. Authentic, full of flavour, sooo much variety of dishes (vegetarian and meat based) and live cooking to boot! This is the perfect Pakistani restaurant and no wonder it's always super busy. For £21-24, it's definitely worth every pound. Come here with an appetite and roll yourself home!

It's really easy to get to as well. Central line to Perivale and a 7 minute walk from the station. Of course there are alternative routes to get there too! Definitely give this place a visit.

We love Indian food and we keep trying new paces for it until we found this place. A friend of mine recommends me this and I visited this place with my wife. The thing that attracts me in any Indian menu is their biryani so I ordered chicken biryani here and my husband ordered lamb chops. The food was amazing and served nicely. They also have a good traditional range of desserts which we totally loved. I would definitely recommend this place.
Fatima Ali
My husband kind of like Indian food for its high spices so I took him to this place on a suggestion of a friend for the first time and he totally loved it. Now it’s been quite a time we often visit this place. They have a very extensive menu with a lot of variety in every section but our personal favorite is Lamb mirchi which is so amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Royal nawaab - my ***. There is nothing royal about the unrealistic waiting times, customer service and cramped conditions. What I couldn't understand is why they continue to take more table bookings, state that it will be an 45 minute wait, then when you come to check they turn around and say it'll be another 2 hours. Ridiculous
Aisha Tariq
I had heard so much about this place from my sister so we all came here for Iftar on Sunday.

We called in to book a table and was told that we'd get a table on the second floor (the ground floor was fully booked) where they'd serve iftar but for dinner, we'd have to come downstairs for the buffet.

The inside resembles a mini hotel with plush interiors. For Ramadan, they have converted the wedding banquet on the second floor into a dining area.

The Iftar buffet included salad, 3 types of chutneys, samosay, spring rolls, potato wedges, papri chaat, dahi bhallay, an assortment of fruits and tea. Water, dates, soft drink and lemonade were complimentary (and unlimited). I added bits of all and they were really good.

Coming to the dinner buffet, the dishes are endless. You have so much to choose from - Chinese, Italian, numerous desi dishes, live cooking stations, pizzas, etc. I had Chicken Pasta, Vegetable Noodles, Chicken wings, Pakoray, Chicken drumsticks, Kebabs, Puri (from one of the live stations), Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Chicken Masala Karahi and a slice of pizza. This may seem too much but there were a lot many dishes they had.

I absolutely loved the chicken pasta - so cheesy and yummy! The vegetable noodles were quite bland. The chicken wings and drumsticks were really good. Pakoray were nice but I wish they had added that to the buffet upstairs for iftar. Kebabs were quite good, too. Chicken Biryani wasn't bad but it really fell low in comparison to the rest. The puri was the BEST thing of the evening. One thing to be aware of, the cook at the live station making puris takes some time so expect to wait a bit. Butter Chicken was extremely bad - it looked and tasted nothing like one. Pakistanis CANNOT cook butter chicken like the Indians.. Period! Chicken Masala Karahi was quite okay, but much better than Butter Chicken.

My sister got Nihari and Haleem from the live stations which I tried. The nihari was extremely good. So was the haleem but a little less. They had lamb chops and roast chicken at other live stations but that too were taking some time, so I didn't get to try those.

For desserts, they had many desi choices which I walked past. They had chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and jelly of which I took the first two. There was also a section of ice creams - from strawberry to vanilla to bubblegum.

The chocolate mousse wasn't the best I'd had but it was pretty decent. The sponge of the chocolate cake was quite dry but the filling was nice. However, once you had the chocolate cake, the mousse tasted bland.

The waitstaff were very attentive. The upstairs hall was a better place to have iftar at than the downstairs (it was so crowded and suffocating). The lemonade hardly had the taste of lemon - this is because they had added just a pinch of lemon powder to soda.

#ZomatoRamadan

Authentic Pakistani Cuisine in plush surroundings.
Unlike most other Pakistani restaurants, this one offers decent seating, where families are more than welcome to sit comfortably.
The service is impeccable and the quality of the good is excellent with a wide variety of buffet dishes to choose from.
Highly recommended.
Olufikayo Adeola
A lively venue with decent food. This place has somewhat of a reputation so going in with high expectations I was a little let down.
The food is decent and as it's a buffet you can probably get your money's worth. However, if were only considering quality then the £20 per head cost for the buffet is a little steep.
The place can get very packed so expect a rowdy atmosphere.

Ah Nawaab. The crutch on which all visiting Mancunians rest. I mean sure, I was lucky enough to have visited Manchester in the 90's when Wilmslow Road was actually something to boast about, and I still have a soft spot for the kobdeh at Rusholme Chippy. But 15 odd years is a long time and a lot can and does change in that time. Food is now London's forte, unless you're from Manchester and have enough pride to delude yourself.

Take Nawaab as an experiment. This is a wildly acclaimed joint in Manchester, the place that needs to be on the list of anyone who wanted to check the culinary credentials of the place. And yes, it's not half bad. In Manchester.

But take the place out of it's comfort zone and place it in the different context that is London and you see exactly how it ranks. And that is: not very well. The food was oily, the atmosphere cheap, the choice (Nawaab is a buffet) limited, the price unimpressive (£20 per head), the service poor... there really wasn't anything that made Nawab anything more than adequate really. I can think of at least five places across London that beat it.

And so there you have it: conclusive enough proof that Manchester doesn't really have the nicest Indian food in the UK, at least not any more. Not that that has anything to do with Nawab itself - no for that, I simply leave you with a recommendation to skip.
