Called in for the first time on Thursday 21/04/22 for Lunch, cosy spacious place & spotless interior. Excellent meal choices from the menu or order the Special Of The Day. Friendly service & delicious food especially the all day Breakfast. Reasonable menu prices & Sugar & Spice in a good location in the High St.
Lovely cafe with very friendly staff. Local and wonderful. Food was served speedily and tasted nice. Coffee also nice. Slightly old fashioned but that is what makes it special. Wonderful selection of cakes and quiches. Would recommend for families and people who want proper good food. Not as chic as modern coffee houses but is homely and friendly. Very spacious inside. Lovely.
Have always come for breakfast or lunch. I think it’s great value for money. The tea room is very old fashioned but don’t let it put you off. It’s lovely.

This is the one cafe to go to and try it's clean a good menu and the staff go out of their way to make you welcome the food was well cooked and presented

Met a friend with my husband for coffee and perhaps something to eat. We all had a latte and were given a choice in the size. Good quality coffee.Two of us had a snack of two crumpets with cheese on. These were very good value and tasty. A great winter treat. The bill for the three of us was £16. The staff were very helpful as we did go in with dogs and we were tucked away.
When staff eventually served us they were busy talking we waited a while to be served but when we did I had a lovely coffee. Tempted to have cake but refused they looked delicious. Nice atmosphere. Clean place.

Lovely little cafe with good food choices. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Deserves more recognition as the food is great and wide choice of yummy cakes.

We were pleased to be able to visit after the lockdown. Our usual poached eggs on toast were their best again. Never disappointed when we visit . Pleasant service again quick. Sandwiches made for us for our journey home. First class thank you Sugar and Spice
