Bada Bing Cafe

ive been reviewing restaurants for a while, so it's a surprise to me that i didn't review this one. i went on a date here once and while the relationship didn't last, the memories of food certainly did. i had the steak sandwich and boy, it was a great steak sandwich. food holds such a special place in my heart and this food may just be my heart.

Fabulous service, as we ordered at very short notice a large chocolate Assasin cake which looked incredible and tasted delectable. Thanks Nathan, for making our special family gathering of missed birthdays such a hit, the cake disappeared so quickly I didn't get time to take a photo. Highly recommend this Assasin cake for a special occasion.

Recommended to try the coffee here and finally made it. Great spot for brunch and the lunch options looked great too. Coffee was strong, ended up having more than i usually would because it was so nice! Sweet selection looked on par for anyone that cant go past a cake or slice, well worth a look for sure. Will be back, great spot to relax and enjoy food and conversion!

Lovely place opposite the lake. They do breakfast and lunches. We decided to go for coffee/ teas and cakes. Coffee was great with just the right amount of taste. Not too strong or weak and not bitter at all. They also offer lactose free milk for those lactose intolerant people. English breakfast teas were unfortunately bitter for some reason. Cakes were lovely. We each tried a bit of each others cakes and all said were nice. Staff were very friendly and polite with prompt service.. unfortunately the cafe had so many flys inside. Possibly because of the lake. Otherwise great place.

Very different during covid, when I went in, I saw how everything was arranged, I felt it looked like it was preparing for war. Clear boundaries set to check if you're dining in, these are what we need, vaxx passport before dining in, if you're getting take out, the other counter. Very different from when I first dined there. I didn't like the segregation, even though I maybe vaxxed already. Wasn't as welcoming. Just saddening. I used to enjoy eating here. I ordered the vegan breakfast with feta, olives, spinach and peppers. It was extremely salty. Feta and olives were already salty. It was quite unbearable to eat but I was so famished. I just drunk a lot of water after.
