Bakers Hill Pie Shop

A must place to call into if passing by. Look for the big green and Gold signage saying "Bakers Hill Pie Shop" on the left hand side if heading away from Perth lovely friendly staff. Inside seating with 7 tables, 5 of them with 4 chairs and the remaining 2 with 2-3 chairs. There is also outdoor picnic table seating under cover however in winter it can still get wet. Wide variety of different pies including a breakfast bacon and egg pie. Lots of fillings inside all the different pies I've had. Apart from pies they also do pastries, sweet treats all baked daily, plus tea, barrista coffee included lactose free milk. Also large glass fridges full of different drinks.

Never considered myself a massive pie fan, but the pie's at this place were absolutely delicious!! Handy place for a pit stop if you are going to/from Perth for a roadtrip. We had an assortment of Steak, Steak and Pepper, Steak Bacon and Cheese Pies , Sausage Roll and Chicken and Veg Pastie. All extremely yum! Steak Bacon and Cheese Pie could of been warmer. Sausage rolls are so good. You can tell the ingredients are premium as you don't feel sluggish post meal due to high calories you get with other low quality pastries. Wish they had a franchise in Perth so more people could try them out. Also young staff members were great in serving customers. Well done!

I stopped there at lunchtime last Sunday because they have a good reputation however in my case they sold me a a barely warmer than room temperature pie. It may have been nice if it was hot but I threw it away after eating half. A couple of friends stopped there as well and also bought hot food that wasn't hot. I probably should have gone in and said something but the place was busy and appeared to be being run by children so I just left. I assume from their reviews that they usually do better.
