Barmah On The Point

Not our first time here, but today my chicken and cashew salad was tasteless and quite frankly 'bland'. Hubby was happy with his brunch, but also not fantastic. Our hot drinks were good and the service was at its usual friendly and helpful standard. Maybe chef had a big night last night and wasn't at his/her best today.

Had breakfast with a large group. Nice enough food but nothing special, some weren't happy with their meals. basic breakfast options. Miscommunication between wait staff and barista meant a number of coffees didn't come out and had to be asked for again. Ok - wouldn't rush back. Playground nearby was fun for the kids. Parking on site but be sure not to tempt the parking inspector, ready to hand out tickets.

Wow! What an absolutely fabulous place for dinner! New to Perth, we discovered Barmah whilst out walking on Day 1 of our holiday. The owner ran through the menu and we thought "why not" if his cooking is as good as his passion we are going to enjoy the meal! All I can say is "perfecto".....great meal, friendly warm vibe. ..loved every bit. Highly recommended.

Really great place for any meal. Wonderful service and delicpius homestyle cakes they make themselves very reasonably priced especially for the position in Perth on the river. Try their pasta it's very authentic! The owners are doing a great job so friendly and accommodating. Their food has their heart and soul put in it. Come on Perth City Council don't make this so expensive for these restaurants for parking get behind them and offer some free 2 hour parking in this precinct.
