Italian Street Kitchen

We have been coming here many times and I can confidently say that each we do, we have always had great service, great food, great atmosphere, and great value. The restaurant is modern, nice and clean with great views and the staff will always put a smile on your face. Thank you Olivia and your team for always looking after us. We will be back! The food was fantastic... the drinks are fantastic... the service very friendly... the view from the tables by the windows towards the CBD was fantastic. The reasonably priced menu is a plus, with a choice of tapas style or main meals. A great place to hang out for an evening meal, I'm keen to go there again!

The food were cheap considering the environment. Surprisingly we all felt disappointed about our dish. The side salad was good, I love the sauce. The chips were ok, no complaints. The steak was thin, so it’s a challenging task of the chef to make it nice. The steak (medium rare) was umm, okay. But I just don’t want to pay $18 for this. I would be more than happy to pay extra money if I can have a better steak. We are not an expert on Italians food. But we didn’t enjoy the gnocchi too much. Too mushy I would say. Compare to the gnocchi we had at Fremantle, we really love that one. And the salmon, it was a generous amount. My friend said it was ok, but the chef can do better. Oh and he had broccolini, not asparagus(they didn’t mention it when we order, tho it isn’t a problem to us). The service was so nice tho. Overall, the food can be a better even at this price point. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just not enough of us to come back.

Really impressed with our visit to Ficus. We were blown away with how friendly and cheerful every single staff member was. They all seemed to be having a great time at work! The menu has a great range and the prices are so good for the size of the meals. We couldn't fault the food either. Everything was delicious including the cocktail special. Honestly can't recommend this place enough. Looking forward to coming back and working our way through the menu.

The food here was a big surprise - very affordable and generous servings. The Burger is amazing value at $12 with chips (!?) and we didn't have a single dish that was not completely finished. The staff were very helpful to us as we had quite a few kids in our group, and even helped us source the keys to parents room when we were unable to access it.

In my opinion one of the underrated restaurants in Perth - amazing value - fresh ingredients great food and very friendly service. I’ve been here over 20 times now so this is not a one off experience review. These guys set the bar good & high for a good quality place to have a great meal and a drink.
