I have been going to this place for years. The food is great. Every time I travel I always compare the Japanese food back back to this place and have not found any place that does it as well as this place.
Very consistent and the quality of the food is fantastic.
Decor could be updated but the food is what we come for.

We have been eating here for years. No it's not flash . It's not in the fashoinable location. But as a person who would eat Japanese at least once a week this is a serious example of more classic style. Probably the best sashimi in Perth.

A bit pricy, but nice and well-cooked traditional japanese cuisine. Maybe ask for whats included (salad/rice/veggies) as we had some trouble with this. Green tea ice cream as a dessert is a must!!

Perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Located in one of the more neglected parts of Perth, Yoshiya is one of Perth's oldest dining gems the buildings outer facade gives no clues to the quality authentic Japanese dining available within. Really good fresh food, amazing miso, and friendly service from the staff. Gave 4 stars because it is BYO only, so stock up on Asahi and Sake on the way.

If there was a -5 stars I would give it. The food was good but it was expensive and the service was absolutely and utterly deplorable. They violated personal space by rudely picking up your drink and checking if it was empty or not without asking. The wait was so not worth the money nor the food. What a shame.

A very average experience. The decor is dated with no music, the wait staff were pleasant but the manageress was blunt and changed her mind about the menu several times. Meals over priced. Not recommended.
