Guaranteed the best dumplings you can find in Perth. Their pork xiao long bao is next level and even better than Din Tai Fung. If you haven’t visited this place, you absolutely must. Their hand cut noodles are amazing and full of flavour. There isn’t an alternative that beats this authentic restaurant.

Food: we’ve tried a few dishes over a couple of visits (UPDATE: we liked it so much we visited three times in two days,) and have enjoyed everything so far. Lamb and chicken skewers are soft and juicy. Their hand cut noodles (刀削面) are my standout favourite; we’ve had it stir-fried with beef, with chicken, in a soup with pork and preserved vegetables, and with a spicy beef soup, and it’s always been delicious. 18/20 Service: we’re greeted with a smile every time and every staff member has been friendly and nice. It’s a refreshing change to how you get treated at many other Chinese restaurants. Food didn’t take long to arrive either. 16/20 Ambience: it’s the only minor failing here, not that I mind. It’s clean and tidy, but the décor is quite strange, you’d have to go see it for yourself. 12/20 Overall: great food, friendly service, and good value for money? This is our new favourite restaurant in Northbridge, bar none. 18/20

I have been here a couple times before. However, the other day when my partner and her friend ordered pickled vegetables & pork fried noodles and cucumber for takeaway, they requested extra chopsticks (3 pairs in total) the service staff denied. When my partner insisted on an extra pair of chopsticks because they wanted for hygiene purposes when sharing food, the service staff denied again. They said that you only ordered 2 dishes so you only get 2 pairs. If this restaurant is that cheap and stingy with disposable chopsticks, imagine how cheap they are with their food. Won’t be retuning.
