We visited at lunchtime on a quiet Monday. My review has 4 parts - 1. food (light lunch from blackboard menu) which was very yummy, 4+ stars - 2. Staff, very friendly and accomodating, 4+ stars - 3. Premises, definitely need some TLC, 3 stars - 4, location, tranquil setting right on the banks of the swan river - very relaxing place to sit, relax and spend an hour or so, 5 stars. To conclude: Peninsular Farm Cafe with its lovely setting, combined with a little TLC has the ability to become a 5 star cafe destination

We had the high tea, so didn't view the the regular menu.
The food was crusty from the heat, obviously
had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile in
preparation of our arrival. It was edible but not
the best high tea I've had. The place lacks
ambiance now, it was great with the lounge and
outdoor furniture when it was Tranby House.
Nice white covers on the chairs for the high tea
experience, but the addition of a white table
cloth would been nice. The windows are filthy,
the place could do with a decent spruce up. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had high tea with friends and we made a booking beforehand. The waiting time was quite long. The tea pot itself was alright but the pot did not hold the tea warm long enough which was disappointing.
The dish served with high tea was not really good. Small portions and minimum variety.
Staffs were friendly but the total quickly was less than a descent high tea and the price was high for such a quality. I don’t recommend the high tea at all.

Great place to relax with a cuppa, a view of the river and possibly a visit to the National Trust Peninsula Farm property for some history.

Delicious scones and pastries. I think there should have been more savoury options. Only got 2 sandwiches and mini quiche. Quaint setting and byo prosecco on the water was just stunning!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience! STAFF disgusting, food disgusting, service DISGUSTING! - Was given cold tea in a takeaway cup to sit down, meanwhile everyone else had normal cutlery. Cakes were stale and served on flopsy paper plates , and we were given plastic forks- complained to the staff and then got given normal plates and cutlery , with no apology or any sort of compassion! would not recommend this place to anyone! Learn to treat your customers right!!!

Met the lovely doggie Bobby! Such a beautiful cafe to have a tea on a Saturday morning enjoying the river view.

A beautiful setting, certainly a place to relax and enjoy your high tea. High tea package price is expensive, won't be doing that again but definitely back for the ambience.
