I have been to this place many times and have always found the male staff extremely friendly and helpful. On the last 2 occasions I have had a female 20ish serve me and she has been exceptionally rude and condescending. Today she charged my disabled client $2 extra for a marshmallow with the $5 hot chocolate. On making a complaint with the Male staff member(one I'd never seen before) he laughed and stated that he would speak to her. Unfortunately I will never go back to this particular store. Nice coffee and waffles but absolutely appalling customer service and trying to rip off a person with a disability is disgraceful!

Took a bus into town and enjoyed a walk. Stopped here for coffee and goodie. So many wonderful treats and not enough time to enjoy them all. After what we had, and after reading other reviews ... guess I better try the waffles. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We sat outside, watch the people and nibbled on our treats. Planning to make a habit of this place. This area of town in very nice to walk, shop and hang out. Recently we visited several other locations ... all are very nice, clean and wonderful.

Literally the most delicious waffles, I understand that some people say that the pricing is high but have you been to dome or any other cafes? They sell waffles for around the same price, if not more, and 99% of the time they’re taken from a packet and put onto your plate. This place makes fresh waffles to order and they are just to die for. Super warm, crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. I came in tonight whilst waiting for my partner to finish work and got the small waffles with cream, syrup & peanut butter cup ice cream - and an iced mocha, I could not have got a better combination yummm. Not to mention, the guys in here have great customer service! Always have a smile & are happy to serve you!
