I have been a customer since opening date. Living close by I found the fresh produce selection, deli food and atmosphere to be excellent and convenient. The quality has undeniably dropped over the past year, and I'm disturbed to see so many unhappy staff members. I'm only judging their emotion due to the expression on their face and tone when speaking to customers. I wasn't going to write a low review, until mid way through my order at the deli yesterday, when my partner was told to "get out and leave" My partner and I was asked very rudely by another staff who wasn't serving us at the deli "do you two have masks"? Our response was, "yes" I put mine on, and my partner has a medical exemption. As I was about to explain to the staff member, but was cut off mid sentence. My partner was told to "get out, if you don't have one". Safe to say, I'll be finding another independent grocer.

Love love love this place. So authentic. You can tell the food is made with love. Always plenty of staff around. Such a lovely atmosphere. But if you love real Italian food this is it! A little bit more expensive but 100% will not regret. Rather pay for quality anytime. And it's a constant. I hope these guys are around for a long time and keep it in great family. Hard to find little secrets like this as they tend to not be able to sustain for longevity. Love supporting small family business like this. Nothing but love for this delicatessen.
