Blue Sea Cafe

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Went there during my break at work and got chips and chicken strips, everything was fine until I found a bug in my food, thought I’d go back and tell them, the first guy was nice then the manager (I’m guessing) came in, took the fly out and said “what fly” then insisted that I had bought it hours ago when I had been on my dinner break for 20 minutes. Terrible service, terrible food and below average food quality standards. If you want food poisoning in a box, blue sea cafe is where to go!

Stumbled upon this establishment after a heavy night on the beers. And as you do after such a night, I ordered myself 1 donor meat box, topped with cheese, sweet chilli, sour cream and garlic sauce. Because everyone knows a meatbox isn’t complete without garlic sauce. A some of money was paid the the gentleman behind the counter (unsure of the amount due to being intoxicated) but anyways, he then proceeded to create my ordered dish This is where it all went down hill... Firstly the chips, lukewarm and somewhat undercooked with little to no flavour. Possibly due to being under salted?? Unsure but not impressed. After the chips were laid down, then the donor meat was added. Only one thing to say about this.... Very Dry!! Not the kind of meat you want in your box is it? Next the cheese. It’s hard to be disappointed by cheese. Especially when I’m a large fan of cheese. But I was disgusted to see the gentleman creating my feed add cheese to my meatbox, but to then watch him take it back off and put it back in the bag. Not on my friend And finally sauces... Good flavour, but I’m sorry. when applying sauces to such a dish it needs to be layered on. Undersaucing can leave you with dry chips and meat by the time you get half way through. This is not only disappointing but can also leave you heartbroken. All in all very average meal, was not the succulent or enjoyable meal I so desperately needed at the time of ordering. Sorry, but only 1 star *mic drop* “Drew Out!”
