Ever since the discovery of Shougun in Carillon city arcade’s basement food court. I’ve been spending most of my lunchtime having their lunch specials.
Daniel the owner is very friendly and I can say his daily specials are amazing and very reasonably priced!
Every Thursday he makes Rochor Mee and we requested that we would like lobster on top! That made my Thursday lunch time highlight.
**lobster can be added on any dishes you just have to speak to Daniel at least a day prior and it’s dependent on availability!

decent spot for lunch or early dinner, with still decent prices. they used to be really good though, these days are just so-so. i do still drop by once in awhile just before they close - to get the discounted packed meals (of what's available left)

Love the quality of food and the service is top notch. Daniel is 10/10 when it comes to cooking his dishes. Love the rochore mee and many other weekdays special. Lately he did the hainan chicken rice and it is simply WOW.

A hidden gem in the city for amazing Singaporean hawker food! The owner Daniel runs a daily local specials menu, featuring hawker faves such as prawn & ribs noodle soup, bak chor mee, rochor noodles, katong laksa, etc. Shogun's version of prawn and ribs noodle soup is one of the best we've ever had, which has a rich prawn infused broth and melt-in-your-mouth ribs... so so good!

Even they sell sushi, it is the place to go for everyday special order Singapore's street food. Check with the owner for what's on special for the week. Highly recommended. Our favorite lunch place.
