Handmade Burger Co. Peterborough

It does exactly what it says: great handmade burgers! Well, I added the 'great' because.... they are. Consistently. We've been a few times and tried a variety of burgers; including chicken, veggie and vegan and they've all been great. The handmade chips are the star of the show though. Oh! And the shakes! Staff really friendly and helpful. Location great. Does get busy though so we have had to wait a few minutes to get seated and a smidge longer for the food to come out.

I absolutely loved this place. Was seated very quickly, our server was very polite. I had the classic cheese burger which came out piping hot! Lovely fresh good quality. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I marked down was I was sat near a ledge and it was dusty, just needed a wipe over. Will be returning again I am sure.

Very clean and tidy restaurant, staff were super and friendly even though it was fairly busy with fast turnaround on tables. We ordered cheeseburgers with chips and it was superb! Very fresh ingredients, not at all sloppy and stayed in one piece. Onion rings were a bit oily but still tasty. But i have to agree with some other people's comments that the beef patty was a bit overcooked on the outside but red in the middle suggesting it was cooked too quick. Overall it was worth the trip into Peterborough and will definitely visit again.

Burgers were great, ambience good. Service a little slow but I'm given to understand they had a large group so that's understandable. It was a friend's birthday and we had a cake; they lit the candles and brought it out singing with a knife for cutting and forks and napkins for eating with. Lovely touch :)

Really really good burgers with a nice selection of side and drinks, plus 20% discount for forces and local business. Have been here a few time and the only thing that let's it down is the service, its not terrible its just very good either and it's the little things that they get wrong but I guess there's always room to grow or I might just have been unlucky with my server.

Very friendly staff, quirky and enjoyable decor. Food was delicious - tried the peanut butter and bacon burger with chilli jam and the flavours worked together really well. Only critique was that there was probably too much chilli jam as a lot of it dribbled out onto my hands. Whole experience was great and would definitely recommend this place.
