Really lovely lady served me, very attentive and professional. The food was well presented, tasty and hot. I did take a photo, but I was so eager to eat my lunch that it is not much help for a photo review. But I loved it .

Myself and my mum come here every Friday in the first week.My mum struggles a lot now with mobilty so we stick to three.shops .And Parrots has been a favourite of ours since I was a little girl .Fish and chips are so nice we also do a small one to take home for my brother .Service is ace to a I've and beyond .Can't wish for a better service and fish is outstanding.Thankyou .

I had the Fish Friday special which is Fish & Chips for a fiver along with a couple of potato fritters which were 50p each. Everything was great! Fish was tasty, chunky and coated in a nice batter. Chips were great and the fritters were lovely too. Everything is cooked to order and I'll defintely be back! 😋

Tucked away at the back of the shop is a staircase leading to a small dining area with table service. I had a good pot of tea and a generous portion of scampi with just the right amount of chips. Thank-you!

Not been to parrots for a few years. I had the lunchtime special sausage chips and a drink and a curry sauce. Not bad at all but the curry sauce wasn’t your usual stuff. Kind of fruity, never had that kind before, decent.

Had table service lunch upstairs - waitress was rushed off her feet but still made sure customers were served quickly. Food was really good, nice sized portion. Highly recommend especially if you’re visiting from overseas like I was and want a real British chippy experience.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best saveloy and chips I've had in years, nope, actually ever. The chips were nothing short of perfect. The service was amazing as well. I'll definitely be back
