Went tonight for a birthday meal. The staff were extremely polite and the service was fantastic. The food…… the food was brilliant. We had the lasagna, best home made lasagna I have had in years. The other meals were just as good. Chicken and bacon stack, hunters chicken. All cooked to perfection, all dishes were served in generous portions (talk about value for money).
The atmosphere was lovely, music playing but even with the tennis on the TV, it wasn’t noisy.

What a great country pub! Turned up when they were busy but they still managed to accommodate us! Awesome meal for £8! The bar staff are lovely!
Best Pub in Crowland by far. Always a warm welcome and a great choice of beers. Only 1 real ale at a time usually but always perfectly kept and served. Highly recommended.
We stopped off here for lunch on our way to Mill Farm Lesiure in Wrangle Bank.
The landlord was very welcoming and brought us the menus. The food was good home cooked food and plenty of it for a very reasonable price - total cost for lunch was £20 including a pint and a ½ of larger shandy - bargain if you ask me.
If you are looking for a friendly place to eat and have a drink, give the George and Angel a go, you won't regret it.
Lovely pub, very pleasant and friendly bar staff. Meals homemade and generous portions. Very good value for money. Will definitely go there again. Highly recommend.
We visited this pub for lunch. We had not pre booked as we had been on a boat trip and happened upon the pub when looking for something to eat and drink. They made us welcome and were happy to serve us due to us being a small family. Our dog was welcome too. We sat outside as weather was nice the food was really good and at 2 meals for £12 was a great deal for families. The staff were lovely they food was very good and generous portion. Definitely recommend

The landlady if very friendly and welcoming the landlord is a bit old but a nice kind of fella but don't ask him to play whatever he likes on the jukebox unless you like PJ and Duncan or Sonia no taste in music whatsoever, food is very well priced so are the drinks ,a bar and a lounge football pool darts ect

A nice atmosphere here, quiet and friendly. I have seen, but not tried yet, their food and it looks very good. All their prices are reasonable and they have some good beers.
