Wongs Fish And Chips

We have been back to Wong's over the last few weeks for our Cod & Chips and they have been brilliant every time. The service is both pleasant and very professional. The Cod is really fresh, splitting into flakes when cut, the chips are cut from real potatoes with no iron hard brown splinters. Really one of the best Fish & Chip Shops that we can recall.

I regularly used this chippy when I lived in the area, this chippy has been around for quite some time now. They are often busy which speaks volumes as to the quality of food on offer, they have a reasonable menu with a couple of items you wouldn't often expect to see at a chippy (including ribs!) I also found their curry sauce to be exceptional! The shop itself was always clean and tidy and I found the staff to be polite, helpful and efficient! This is not one of the best.It is the best fish and chip shop we have ever been to,when you get your fish in batter and cut it open the batter is crispy and the fish is amazing,the scales of the fish are so inviting,the proprietor certainly knows how to cook fish and chips,and also 5 star rating for cleanliness, and I think although the name is Wonastow I think he is more phillippino,
