Rare

Food was delicious, prices were high end but that’s to be expected. They also had a featured cocktail which was so so good. I’ve never had oysters before and these ones were pretty good! I ordered 2 and ate them both. The flavourings that came with everything was unique and delicious. Staff are the perfect amount of hands on and hands off too, which we appreciated.

It was our first time at rare tonight and we only have great things to say about this restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food delicious from start to finish. It is also worth mentioning that its diverse menu distinguishes it from other high-end restaurants in town. Tonight's pig ears and seaweed salad was a nice surprise, and even brought back some childhood memories! This is a little gem if you enjoy steak and more.

What a spot! Recently was here for a fantastic dinner. The service and food were equally amazing and I cannot get the bone marrow or the wagyu ribeye off of my mind! Talking with our server they are constantly bringing in new items and features so if there is something that sounds good make sure to get it because it may not be back.

Not a very appetizing color or texture of the beet risotto...the flavour also left something to be desired. When you order risotto you expect the creamy velvet lusciousness...this was loose and gluey tasting unfortunately. Steaks and other apps were good. Pumpkin doughnut was covered in undesirable colored brown sauce that was super heavy handed with a certain spice...cardamon? Not very tasty. Someones you can go too far out of the box. This was the case for the risotto and doughnut. Everything else was great. The mashed potatoes were spectacular (better than the Keg).

My husband and I went to Rare last night, and it was such an excellent experience. The ambiance is so cool, service is great, and food was out of this world! We got the Brussels Sprout salad, steak frites and burger, and all of it was just the best food we've eaten in a long time! Keep doing what you are doing Rare, and we can't wait to come back!
