Amandala's Restaurant

Can't say enough good about Amandalas. Every table has real flowers. Started with three cheese and onion dip with naan bread. Bread was super soft and dip was hot and full of flavor. Had the filet, cooked perfectly and off menu shrimp/scallop pasta dish which was unbelievable. Dessert was chefs special, came flaming and very tasty. Love their cocktails too. Will be back very soon.

We went to Amandala' for our 26th anniversary. We are from Mississauga but were staying at a cottage a half a hour away and we found the place through Google. We were very happy that we picked it for our special day. Everyone was very friendly ,informative and their suggestions were spot on. During these difficult times of covid they practiced all the safe measures. The atmosphere was quite, intimate and relaxed. The food was great. The only thing missing was the carrot cake for dessert. They said that they would be happy to make sure it was available for our next visit. I am a fan of carrot cake and they had rave reviews for theirs which I found out was made local. Thank you to everyone for making our anniversary a great one. See you next year.

Visited for a special occasion, the staff was genuinely warm and engaging. Quite frankly they were the perfect precursor for an amazing meal. The four of us shared a paella which was extraordinary as the rice was perfect and flaky and the seafood within the dish was absolutely a perfect along with the sausage. My particular appetizer was a lobster ceviche That was rich and sauces and the flavour of the lemon. The desert which I took home was the most amazing carrot cake. Needless to say the special occasion was a success and a good time was had by all.

Spectacular service, quality food and lovely ambiance! My husband and I went there to celebrate his birthday and the staff were warm and welcoming. We ordered the baked brie, the Dijon cream pork tenderloin, and the duck confit, everything was delicious! For dessert we had the Lemon cake and the Caramel apple cheesecake, two more hits! One recommendation would be with the cappuccino, it would be nice for it to arrive with dessert and for it to be stronger also, otherwise an absolutely lovely evening... Thank you!!

Fantastic, friendly service!!! My meal was exceptional, we enjoyed a gorgonzola fondue for an appetizer ( best scallop I have ever had! ) and for our main course we enjoyed the Special that consisted of a pork chop with apple and rum reduction. The meat was tender and flavourful. If your in Peterborough check out this fine restaurant!!!
