Found the place just by looking online for options in Peterborough. The all you can eat special on Tuesdays intrigued us. My son asked that we out a 5 star review. He can be picky and was raving about the mashed potatoes and he also tried a bit of the fish and chips. I believe everything is made fresh and from scratch. Everything came piping hot. Wish we could have utilized the nice patio, but it just finished raining when we got there. Service can be slow at times, but we were also trying to make a movie. Will come back as the family wishes.

Friendly service. Warm and pleasant environment. Definitely a great place to get your fish & chips. Had the haddock fish & chips and hot hamburger, coleslaw, seafood chowder soup. Fish & chips was well portioned, hot, crisp, light, fluffy. Fries and coleslaw was nice too. Hot hamburger comes on a garlic bread with beef patties, onion, mushroom, topped with gravy. The patties a bit dry, gravy was quite good and will be great if on a poutine. Better to order a normal hamburger instead. The chowder soup was passable, give it a miss.

Disappointed in myself that I haven't been to this place sooner, great staff, awesome food and can't beat the price! Highly recommend, plus being right across from the lake another bonus... Updated review, have been to this place twice since my first review because of how much I enjoyed my first visit. My second visit last week we dined in on the patio, it was busy waited a few minutes to be seated. We waited almost a half hour for a waiter even acknowledged us, I gave them the benefit of doubt because it was busy. Until I took my fiance here for breakfast talking how amazing this place is, we dine in for breakfast inside this time. Order taken, coffees poured so far it's an enjoyable breakfast, until I notice the family of 5 and another couple both have gotten their food and enjoying it. Thinking that we're next up, around the 45 minute mark I asked our waiter if our food will be ready soon only for her to come back and tell us our food will be a few more minutes because she "forgot" to ring our in and she'll be comping our coffees.. So being a little annoyed and hungry we waited, another 15 minutes passes my boyfriends plate came out, mine followed another 10 minutes after, he had finished by the time I got my plate. So over a hour we waited for our food, I'm sorry but completely unacceptable and from my last two experiences regardless of how good the food is, I won't be back nor will be recommending this place. First impressions mean nothing.
