Cute little Cafe with some great food at a good price. Had the peameal Benedict and the peameal was grilled so perfectly, eggs nice and runny and loved the dollar chips. Really friendly and quick service even when a little busy. Definitely recommend

One of the best breakfasts in town. Located right in the center of downtown, near everything. I had the scrumtious meet lovers omelette, which is LOADED with cheese, bacon, and sausage. Paired with the yummy dollar chips. Dining area was also recently renovated, with a cozy 1920s gangster-esque atmosphere. That lives up to the restaurants namd.

Eggs are good toast was good dollar fries little bit soggy but will blame that on the Styrofoam container the sausage however is the most disgusting thing ever super low quality meat that taste freezer burnt and to top it off is the way it's cooked they must be boiling them then Browning in the oven and now they just taste gross .

This has been my favourite breakfast place in Peterborough for the past fifteen years. I don’t know what’s happened but I took the family there for Easter Sunday and noticed it was taking longer than usual to get our order out. The kicker was that bacon was so dry that it looked yellowish and plastic. Just a tip for the chef. That’s what happens when you cook too much bacon the day before and throw the extra in the fridge to be served the next day. Seriously, it doesn’t take ten minutes to cook it fresh.

We discovered this randomly, as we were looking for a place for an early lunch. I had the feta cheese quesadilla, which was a first. As somebody that loves cheese, I loved it. My wife got a custom made vegetarian club sandwich. We also got a huge basket of wafflecut fries that were super crispy. Definitely not something you can have everyday, but it was a nice meal.

Nice spot. Service is good, they're very friendly. Breakfast is tasty. The 'dollar chips' are great, they're tasty and not greasy. Coffee is very good. Toasts are also good, and I enjoyed their peameal bacon too. I'll be definitely coming back.

Looking for a cute place for brunch out of town? The Speak Easy Cafe has almost every fast food you could think of. The waitress was super friendly and responded well to any questions. This picture shows my order: half a quesadilla with fries. The servings were large and filling. Overall, it was a cute and humble restaurant.
