What an absolutely wonderful church to visit. We visited here on a break away and to my surprise there was a fully functional cafe inside serving everything from tea and cake to full meals and it was packed out.
The church itself is wonderful to look at but the Hub Cafe was a pleasant surprise and a great way to integrate the village.
Wonderful church! Fantastic community engagement and welcoming spirituality.
My husband and myself and our friend go to St Peters for a cuppa and meal every few months when our friends little dog goes for his hair cut at Poston Mill. The church is a beautiful place to be for a few hours. The Staff are wonderful, friendly and the food is delicious and varied. Whether you want to just have a drink or eat its the best place around. Thank you All for a lovely few hours. Keep up the good work. I wish my local church had the same facilities in Much Marcle God bless you
A really fascinating place. The font is a very interesting, and unique little find. I also loved how Norman it looks. It is interesting how they have adapted the church to ensure that the building is kept in use. Lighting was poor as we didn't find the light switch.
Nice friendly place good to meet other people for a coffee and a chat open Wednesday Thursday 11am to 2 30 Fridays 2 till 4 see you there also open 10 am to 12 am 1 st and 3 th Saturday of month for breakfast 😀😊
We were attracted by the huge spire as we were exploring the area. Interesting church with a sign on the gate saying commonwealth War graves which we couldn't find as we walked round the graveyards. We did find the grave of Robert Jones VC and there are lots of old gravestones to look at. The ancient Yew tree with it's hollow centre that must be well over 1000 years old is a feature as is the huge tree near the gate. We walked round the outside of the church but all the doors were locked so unfortunately we couldn't see inside.
This church and its multifunctional usage is truly amazing, a credit to Peterchurch and surrounding areas, a fabulous photo art exhibition atm till mid December, created from the parishioners, these can be viewed whilst tasting some incredible cakes and beverages or a hearty hot dish, made and served by local geniuses 👌totally recommend.
Not really a church anymore. Community hub and well used because. Avoid the cappuccino!
Great cafe serving lunch daily to support the local community. Great staff and let the dog in. Even had GF lemon drizzle cake... delicioso and deserving of 10 🌟 All in the local parish church in the middle of the golden valley =]
