Came for lunch with the family. Very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious, lovely crispy batter, not a drop oil and lovely chips. Highly recommend to all who visit Petersfield.
Very nice, clean well presented dining area. Good service. Fish was excellent and the chips were good too. Will definitely come back again. Only minor issue was room was a bit cold and could have done with a bit of heating, though it was a freezing cold evening when we went.
Friendly, clean and very tasty! Chips were perfect as was the fish. 10/10 on presentation.The curry sauce was lovely overal the best I have had I a long time!!... It's a must visit if you are in the area. I noticed that they have a dine-in section. I didn't use it but it looked nice and well later out. They even have seats while you wait.☆☆☆☆☆
Amazing food and very welcoming staff.
We all really enjoyed it as ever and we treated the Mother in Law and she was shocked with the portion size as it was a lot larger than what she was expecting and she ordered a small chips and small cod goujons.

Eaten here twice now since trading under new management. The first time we ate in and the second as takeaway with the extended family. I can honestly say the food was great and everyone enjoyed the meal. The fish batter was light and golden and the chips, not soggy or greasy but thick and nicley cooked. Think this place is well under rated at the moment so i recommend trying for yourself if unsure.
Delicious fish and chips. We eat in (BYO) fish, chips and a bottle of bubbles. I have never had batter so crispy, it was amazing. The service was perfect. Happy, enthusiastic, funny yet professional. I love the fact they are proud about have MSc fish.
Portion size was perfect, curry sauce was one of the best I have tasted.
Oh my gosh what more can I gush about.
Sadly I don't live in Petersfield but it's a good excuse to visit again.

We discovered this fish and chip shop November 2018 and we have been regularly returning ever since. It's not your average fish and chip shop at all (you must try the battered halloumi.) The food is always delicious and very competitively priced.
Fancy fish and chips. Very popular with the locals so expext a wait, but it wasn't too bad... And the sausages were worth the wait. Their from the local butcher and amazing. The hubby enjoyed his fish too
Had a truly gorgeous plaice and chips this evening. Thank you, so, so much! The batter (gluten free) was light and crisp, the chips were brilliant, would thoroughly recommend. The finishing touch, a wedge of fresh lemon, really gives Sea and Spud the edge.
Enjoyed our meal and the overall friendliness of staff.
Clean environment comfortable seating, freshly cooked food and even a few choices for vegetarians.

Top notch chippie. A wide choice, beautifully cooked. As a 'special' I had a pineapple ring which turned out to be fresh pineapple not tinned. Chips are very well cooked. Smart shop too.
