This was an impulse visit for a birthday treat. We casually ordered afternoon tea for two and were blown away. Super little touches of pretty, high quality napkins, mini gingerbread men on the teaspoons and lovely crockery. Then the food ... OMG the food! Delicious sandwiches in great bread, rock cake and scones and then a plate of mini cakes. Accompanied by a small bowl of fruit to cleanse the palate. We were offered an Eton Mess but had to beg for mercy. Half the tea was carefully boxed up to take home. This little gem is hidden away in Pett and we sat on the terrace overlooking breathtaking views. If it seems like I'm using too many adjectives I defy you to go and try it for yourself, but please don't tell anyone else or we will never be able to get a table again.
The cutest tea room!
Lovely atmosphere, amazing garden views and friendly staff. I was impressed with how equipped they was for children too.
Great little drinks glass with lids so they didn't spill, Colouring books and pencils, comfy cushions for chairs, blankets if they got cold outside, little lollies when they left. Cake boxes to take away any cake we couldn't eat (as you get a generous slice) I'd highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Very cool, quirky, coffee/cake/afternoon tea place to visit, stunning views over looking Pett back to Fairlight direction. Friendly, helpful, relaxed pit stop while out on the bikes
Didn't know it was cash only and had to drive quite a way to get some, however once back we had delicious cakes and coffee!! Would definitely recommend booking (we didn't and most seats outside were reserved) such a great quirky place!
I booked for afternoon tea, asked if we could sit outside we had a lovely view of the countryside, the food ,and tea arrived quickly, service was excellent, the sandwiches were different to the 1's we have had at other tea rooms, including fortnam and masons, the scones were light and fluffy not stodgy, the cakes which comprised of bread pudding, macaroons, tiramasu, chocolate cake, mini Victoria sponges, asked for another pot of tea which finished off the meal nicely, this bespoke place is in Pett East Sussex which is a quiet village, there is no public carpark but there was plenty of space on the road, of all the tea rooms we have been to this was the best, very good value for money £45 for 2 people.
Fantastic afternoon tea to celebrate our 60 th Birthdays!
Lovely staff and a great atmosphere.
Highly recommend 😃
Beautiful place in a quiet setting. Food is very well priced, and was excellent. Had the savoury scone tea, which was amazing. Sat outside in the sun ( in October!!) Totally recommend you try this place out for an afternoon lunch
Beautiful and deceptively big cafe, very pretty garden with arbor covered tables and lovely views over the countryside. Portions are absolutely enormous and really tasty to boot. We didn't have afternoon teas on this occasion but we saw plenty come out and they looked amazing too. A hidden gem and we will definitely be back.
What a fantastic tearoom! The brownie was the best I've tasted. Great coffee too. Generous portions and good value. The staff were lovely, and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this place. The garden and beautiful views are an added bonus!
Lovely vintage/quirky and very pretty tearoom/ hair salon in Pett Village. Beautiful decor indoors and great outdoor seating with wonderful views. Popped in after a walk through Guestling Woods. Extensive range of huge delicious cakes, scones and brownies plus hot and cold drinks. Service was quick, polite and friendly. I opted for the Lemon meringue cake which was lovely and refreshing but a huge slice! I also had a pot of tea of which I got 3 cups. My daughter had the chocolate orange cake and a hot chocolate, again very nice and filling. They also do an afternoon tea per person and take bookings. Nice to see a place like this where so much effect has gone into making it look nice. Will tell everyone about it and looking forward to revisiting.
We visited here on a bright sunny day so we're able to sit outside and gaze at the amazing view.
Although we had not booked we were able to have the afternoon tea. The food was lovely and more than we could eat, so had to take some away. So if want lovely food with a gorgeous view and attentive staff I would recommend the Tic Tocory.
Food was amazing, the view was beautiful as we sat outside under the little wooden shelters. Really a lovely place. Although, one staff member was very rude to all of us. She attitude and tone sucked and her customer skills needs a serious looking at. Its a shame as the lady at the front taking the orders was lovely.
I doubt I'll go there again for this reason. There is no need to be rude to customer, I myself work in the hospitality industry and I could never image talking to customers in that manner.
But If you can tolerate a level of rudeness, then do it as the food was gorgeous.
