Had a small fish chips mushy peas bread and butter and a coffee. It was just enough as I’d had something a little earlier. The quality of the meal was fantastic and the staff was great. I would recommend you drop in and try them. 👍
Came for take away tonight, service was fab. Fish and chips were to die for, I have never tasted anything some yummy in all my life!! The fish was so meaty, and yummy! The chips were amazing! And the Tatare sauce, oh my goodness, absolutely amazing food! My new favourite place!!
This was my 1st visit to this Fish & Chips Shop which doubles up as a restaurant & take away .There's around 9 tables available on ground level with more seating upstairs, I found the young staff on duty to be very welcoming, pleasant & helpful as I decided to sit inside with a table for 2.The menu has a good variety choice of mains including starters & deserts with hot/cold & alcohol drink options. My food order was a small cod & chips with mushy peas side ,bread & butter and tartare sauce which didn't take too long to arrive,there was nice size cod with good portion of pipping hot chips ! I now can fully understand & appreciate why its popular with the locals .I really enjoyed the meal & would definitely recommend a visit ,Cash or card payments are accepted.

Good value, the fish pie was overflowing with freshly cooked fish and new potatoes, the fish was coated with a light batter and accompanied by plenty of chips and peas.

Good grub. Batter on the fish really was quality stuff. Rate the chips and mushy peas pretty highly as well. Sausage was what you would expect from a chippy. Very slow service but obviously came at an unfortunate time. The staff were really caring and even gave us a discount for the wait.
Was a quiet Saturday when we came in from the cold with our dog. No problem to get a table and waitress thoughtfully asked if dog needed a bowl of water whilst we were looking at menu. Chose the medium fish n chips with peas. Glad we didn’t try the large as the portions were massive. Just a short wait ten minutes for freshly cooked fish, crispy batter was lovely and tartar sauce superb. Nice waiting staff. £50 for three people including two hot drinks.
Great fish and chips. The restaurant was really busy when we visited early evening but the service was friendly and efficient.
A big pot of tea was generous for two to share. Fish was perfectly cooked, lovely and fresh with a nice crisp batter. Came with choice of sauce and sliced bread (perfect for guilty pleasure of a chip butty!)
Lovely meal, they forgot the included bread and butter, but quickly brought it up, so the service was good. TBH very satisfying and generous portions. PERFECT ❤️❤️❤️
Wow got to be the best fish n chips I've had for ages. I ordered small cod and could not manage to eat it all. Poor hubby thought he was hungry so ordered the medium, found he could only manage half of it. Wonderful service from group of young staff. Please co.e to Kent and show them how to cook fish.
Food is pretty amazing! It's not the cheapest at £15 for a medium haddock, medium chips, curry sauce, bread and butter then it's pretty decent!
The battery is lovely and crispy and light and the fish is fried skinless so you can enjoy all the batter!
Food is served quickly and even though the place is super busy you don't have to wait long!
Staff were all so young, but impeccably efficient and friendly. Whitby Crab Salad was just wonderful, and the small fish and chips was devoured!
