This is a very big awesome pub! The staff were really good, attentive, respectful and always had a smile on their faces. Starters are very “deep fried” which is a bit of a shame. The mains were excellent however and everything was well presented and seriously yummy!

An awesome gastro pub! We were picked up from Heathrow by family and headed here for lunch - and wow, sensational food and service from Emilia.
I had the chicken and ham pie with carrots and fries - fantastic! My husband had the fish and chips which he loved. And others enjoyed the luxury fish pie
10/10 this was an amazing experience. The food, the service and atmosphere were all 10/10. I literally can’t fault the place.

Visited on a weekday for lunch so managed to get a table overlooking the greens. The quality of food was excellent and great atmosphere. I imagine this place would be heaving on a weekend. Good selection of wines too.
Went here for a Sunday lunch with family. Had the table booked for 2pm, so not particularly later in the day but unfortunately they were already sold out of 3 types of roast! What a delightful experience dining at The Cricketers on the Green. Meeting up with old school friends we enjoyed lunch whilst sharing memories of over 50 years ago when the same premises was just a dingy public house. How it has altered and become a smart and lively restaurant.
The staff and manage
We visited on 17th October. The service was excellent as was the food. We rarely go anywhere else locally now to eat, as we know the food is so good. The lunch menu is great value too. Thank you making it a lovely lunchtime plus the Happy Birthday message on the pudding!
We had dinner in the cabinet room for a special occasion. The table was laid beautifully and the room gave the evening an extra special feeling. 8 of us sat comfortably around the table with plenty of room. The food was amazing and the staff really went out of their way to make the meal special.

An absolute gem of a pub have driven by many many times and thought what a quaint welcoming pub it looked. Finally got to experience it and all of the above were above and beyond . Such a beautiful venue. During lockdown we frequented the famous Yurt, so nice to be able to dine-in in the fabulously renovated restaurant. Seasonal menu, lovely staff, Fantastic deserts. Can't wait to come again!
