Attentive, friendly staff and very lovely food. This is our 'local' but our first time here for a meal. Our dishes were well-presented and very tasty. Great value for money. We would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat, made to feel very welcome even though the place was busy. A great range of food on offer at great prices, I had the steak pie, amazing! Loads of meat and my wife had the fish & chips, which she has now had another 3 times visiting the Inn with friends. Can highly recommend

I'm a local and have eaten here for many years (through changes in management)and believe myself that the Pitlessie Inn is better than ever and we always have a great experience. Food is delicious and service always polite, friendly and very attentive. ( as a side take- away is delicious and portions very generous- always look forward to my left- over steak pie for my lunch the next day!) * my only wee request is an improvement to the disabled toilet as it's a tad chilly 😉 Keep up the fantastic work folks!!

It had been about 20 years since our last visit, so after seeing a sign at the side of the road stating it was still open and serving food, (there was scaffold erected outside the building for it to get a new coat of paint) and a large carpark having been built at the side of the building for patrons ( it's a one way system so you enter from the main road as you drive into the village). We stopped by for a bar lunch. The insides have been refurbished and are looking very nice. There is a bar area, snug ( available for private parties to book), and a dining area. Outside, there is a beer garden for the warmer days. We were warmly greeted and taken to a table, we ordered food and drink, which came out soon after. I had ordered the spaghetti Genovese with extra chicken, and my wife ordered the steak pie ( stew and pastry as per virtually all establishments now). Both dishes were delicious, one small niggle though, was some of the beef in the steak pie wasn't as melt in your mouth as other pieces, maybe two different batches? We felt that some pieces could have been cooked a couple of extra hours to get that extra tenderness. But this was a very small niggle, the steak pie and accompanying veg were still delicious along with the spaghetti and both plates were cleaned. The prices for food and drink here are very reasonable considering it's in a small village. The server (Katy) was polite, prompt, well presented and very knowledgeable about our enquiries regarding future bookings, a credit to the establishment. The toilets were clean and tidy. I would recommend eating here. It's well worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a fabulous place to stay. Friendly staff, beautiful large, immaculately presented room(phunky pheasant), great views. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast fabulous. Coffee amazing. Really glad we booked two nights.. Would definitely stay again.

We dropped in for a bar lunch, didnt have a table booked but got seated. We went for main courses only. Hubby had pasta with green pesto, boiled potatoes and chicken. I opted for steak pie and as good as it was its not steak pie! Its stew with pastry, i like the pastry cooked on top of the meat so it gets a soggy bottom, when its cooked separate the pastry breaks into a million pieces! Rant over, it was still good and i liked the veggies that came with it, 2 clean plates! Will go back

We arrived for a 2 night stay but no record of our booking. Staff worked hard to.accomodate us and we were placed in their sister hotel in Ceres. Both hotels.are gorgepus . Breakfast was amazing.. a huge plate and evening meal was just as good. All the staff made us feel very welcome and we'll looked after. The room was large and airy and nicely decorated. Definitely will be back. Thank you pitlessie inn and staff.
