Panera Bread

Just bought 2 turkey/avocado BLT sandwiches at the drive-thru. Now I'm home eating one. What. a. disappointment. Tomatoes are not even close to ripe; they're the palest orange color and I got most of the stem in one slice. Turkey isn't sliced but rather large chunks that don't cover half the bread and could cause choking - glad I noticed first. I'd prefer leaf lettuce for a BLT but have nothing against mesclun or other mixes, but this mix is limp and brown around the edges. The sourdough bread is completely soaked through, except for the crust, and my drive home was only 15 minutes. The bacon was limp and flabby. The only decent part was the avocado, and there was only a tiny slice of that. I basically took everything off, chopped up what was salvageable, and ate it like a salad. Probably 1/3 of the thing went in the trash, and I'm still hungry.

It's a great place for the alternative to fast food, we had the steak sandwich, we ordered large drinks but weren't given the cups, we had to ask for them, they keep the large cups behind the counter, so if you. Order a large drink be sure to get your large drink. The sandwich comes with a pickle and a bag of kettle chips. A bit expensive $30.00 for two sandwiches you actually order from a touch screen and custom to what you want on it and 2 drinks. Steak was in chunks, I think they could unfold them a bit to stay on the sandwich. It was better tasting than other restaurants we previously reviewed. But the price is a negative for us, better to go to a deli restaurant for about the same food and better pricing. However if you have the $ for a special date you won't be disappointed.

Some call it Pantera Bread, others call it Paneer Bread. I call it Panoramic Bread, as their selection of menu items spreads out across the land as far as the eye can see. Rivers of ice tea cut through valleys of lush salads, dotted with bread bowl lakes. Hills of muffins only overshadowed by their majestic counterparts, mountains of coffee drinks thrusting forth in the distance; whipped cream snow caps. To the north, hand baked cookies are ladden by snowy powdered sugar. Look to the South now, where fresh loaves lay out, baking beneath the midday sun of a hearth. Eastward, vegetables -too many to name- swim through an endless soup sea, steaming. To the West, wild sandwhiches gallop across pizza prairies; the embodiement of freedom. Life is good. All is Panera Bread. The sun sets over a perfect world. You rest your head on a chip bag pillow and dream of fountaim soda waterfalls...

Soup was cold. Couldn't understand what kid was saying had to have him repeat numerous times. Wouldn't eye contact or speak up. Asked for drink 3 xs never rang in. Ended up ringing in separate. Sandwich grill cheese seemed microwaved no grill on it. Also ordered french onion soup. Was not on order. Asked the kid for that numerous times. they gave it to us and I mentioned I don't think we were charged for it and was willing to pay because he wanted it. They gave us a cup when wanted bowl. Prices are crazy. Has definitely changed towards a fast food franchise. Believe need better training and better customer service. Wasn't busy so shouldn't rushed young workers just wanted to go fool around and joke around.
