Review King Neptune Fish & Chips - Plaistow

Food is nice. Chips were excellent. But there are no condiments available, you have to pay for your sauce. Not much sitting area only few people can sit and too hot inside.

Ignore the reviews! I ordered from Justeat and naturally after ordering I came onto google maps to see the distance and saw the current reviews on here I can genuinely say the star rating on here does not reflect the food you’re getting (their score on Justeat is very good btw) The food arrived promptly on time, well packaged and their delivery driver was nice and polite The food was piping hot, I also got some free hot wings which were lovely. My order was the mixed chicken and lamb donner kebab with chips. Chips steaming hot, plump, lovely chips. The kebab meat… the chicken donner is probably the best I’ve tasted and I’m not normally a huge chicken donner fan. Awesome food Currently working down in London staying at the premier inn and I’m glad I’ve found somewhere nice to order from because when I’m here next, I’ll be ordering from King Neptune. 10/10 guys, keep it up

Great tasting kebabs. Especially the mixed kebab. Lovely chilli sauce. Big portion and no stomach issues the following day, so can't comment on the bad hygiene reviews. Would use again. There picture tells it all.

So i ordered on Just Eat and then checked the reviews. So it was a nervous 30 mins waiting for the food to come. But honestly I had to write a review and share our experience. Food was piping hot when it arrived and was within 5 mins of the estimated delivery time. Kebab meat was fab when hot but not as tasty once it cooled down. Chips are skin on but I prefer that as you know they’ve actually seen a real potato. They are the right size, shape and texture of a good chip shop chip though. Pie was a pukka so I knew exactly what I was going to get. We really enjoyed the meal. Will be our regular as long as our experience continues to be this good.
