Had an amazing meal in this fantastic little restaurant. We particularly loved the smoked butter served with the bread! We'll definitely be back. Unfortunately we only took photos of our starters, but they tasted as good as they look.
A lovely, quaint and quirky place in the back streets near Royal William Yard. The food is outstanding; you will understand why they have a Michelin Bib Gourmand if you dine here. Have only managed to dine once, for lunch, and off the back of that experience would love to try the Trust the Chef men
Birthday surprise. Did " trust the chef" which was great. Food was delicious, good portions, hot and was delivered with a smile.
My wife and I have long wanted to try The Fig Tree, and our anniversary seemed a good excuse! We were not disappointed! The food was amazing, the staff delightful, very welcoming and helpful. There are better tables locations than others due to the layout, we started at the back and were moved later
A total gem!. This is most definitely a diamond. Warm and welcoming service. Good atmosphere and generous but superb food. Not a single course disappointed, in fact, every moment was sheer joy. We would certainly return.

Some of the best food I've ever had in my life. It's a small family run place full of locals. The chef takes Devon ingredients and makes them sing.

Service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. And the food! Everything we ate was delicious. My wife is coeliac and was accommodate
A good restaurant in the vicinity of the Royal William yard. Set menu is quite interesting, with many options to choose from. The specials might increase the price a bit but they are worth it. First time here today with friends. Had the trust the chef lunch menu. Loved the element of surprise & trying things I would normally not choose. All the courses were delicious. Will be visiting again.
We had a Saturday evening experience which was wonderful. Food is excellent and the atmosphere great. Very pleasant staff. The wine and beer list includes an excellent English wine and local bottled beer. Great fun and we will definitely go back.
We had SUCH a fun night here, the staff were amazing, our server was attentive but most importantly they made us laugh throughout the night and it wouldn't have been the same night without them. The highlight of the food were the mackerel starter and the white chocolate cheese cake, both were excell
Amazing food and a good selection of drinks, and a nice chilled out atmosphere. 3 course lunch for £33 is great value. Do try the bread with smoked butter, absolutely stunning. Asked upon booking if we had any special dietary requirements, as they would cater for them if needed. Overall a great plac
