The Greedy Goose - Plymouth - Photo album

Great tasting food with amazing presentation. Atmosphere of the restaurant was also excellent. The dish was just the right size for me but some may find a little smaller than other places. I would like to visit again for night time next!
The quality of this restaurant is a real cut above the rest. Not to mention their amazing set lunch offer. The stone work and courtyard add an extra dimension to this restaurant with character.
Really lovely meal. The staff were amazing, polite and helpful. Took my parents there for a 3 course meal. Everyone agreed it was delightful. Fully recommend. The best restaurant in Plymouth. Picture is of the chocolate moose which I had with the Black Muscat dessert wine.
Excellent set lunchtime menu for £13! Good range to choose from, delicious food, had salmon starter, bream main & banoffee pie with salted caramel. Scrumptious
The food was delicious, fabulous building and staff were all excellent. Definitely would come again.
Absolutely fell in love with the greedy goose, the building is stunning and the food was absolutely amazing. Such a lovely atmosphere I didn't want to leave.
Excellent food, amazing price, fantastic staffs. What more could one wants.
Fantastic service and amazing food. We've had a lovely evening.
The food was absolutely amazing. The venue & atmosphere was warm & welcoming. The service was professional & friendly. The pricing was good. I would strongly recommend a visit to the greedy goose to sample the excellence on offer. We didn’t have it because we will be returning but they offer a taste
Booked a table for two for my partner's birthday. Service was immaculate, friendly and relaxed. The food was fantastic as was the setting. The historic nature of the building adds to the overall ambience of the occasion. 10 out of 10. We will be returning soon.
Really enjoyed the Crab Linguine and Chocolate Pudding ‘Watch and Dine’. Fresh, high quality ingredients delivered to our door, easy to follow instruction both written and on You Tube, which was great fun to follow and the food at the end of it all was excellent (if I may say so myself!). Really en
I've been here several times and it has always been a pleasurable visit. Authentic mediaeval ambience, very well cooked and well presented food, attentive service and a wine list giving sensible choices at not too great expense. Unhesitatingly recommended for a special occasion or, if you choose y
Anniversary meal this evening and all was good. A very relaxing and enjoyable meal from 7 - 11pm, lovely food and great wines. If I was going to be particularly critical I would suggest a little zesty julienne of ginger and chilli with a small piece of coriander leaf to finish the Indian spiced lamb
Had the early menu as we were going to the theater and we were really impressed. The menu was slightly different to Facebook and their website so be warned not to set your heart on something until you get there. The building was beautiful and really interesting. Food was to a really high standard an
The food here is incredible. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. It's such a quirky place with a gorgeous old courtyard for dining outside and on a summers evening it is lit up and looks like something from a film set. It also has a function room. Not forgetting though that the food is absolutel
Food was fantastic as always and service was excellent, however after three courses I left feeling like I needed a sandwich to fill me up! Very expensive even bread was £4 for two slices, a few friends all felt the same. Fabulous food just not enough of it! Desert was 1 cm of pannacotta, literally 3
I can't fault it, supreme fine four hour dining. The amount of finely selected wines is quite hardcore when choosing the 11 meal taster course, including the optional matching wine flight is one hell of a challenge. At £150 per head, it was worth every tasty penny, with superb professional service
