Mama Rita's Kitchen - Plymouth - Photo album

The food at mama Ritaโ€™s is fantastic, definitely now one of my favourite places to eat in plymouth. I had the black bean and plantain curry, asked for it to be hot and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately they didnโ€™t have any dumplings, so we had the sweet potato fries instead which were fresh
A highly recommended Ghanaian eatery in the centre of Plymouth. Mama Rita and her amazing team conjure up generous and rich, homemade delights for eat-in or takeaway. Regular orders from here have consisted of Caribbean Chicken Curry (chicken breast cooked with a blend of spices, vegetables & coconu
The service is OK but it's takes a bit long to get your order. The decor was OK and their customer service was fine. Was able to use my blue light card discount in the restaurant. Enjoyed the food but they could do better.
Fabulous food & all cooked on the spot. I had a Jamaican stew it's soooo good. My granddaughter had her favourite curry there & completely cleared her plate.
Hands down best Caribbean food Iโ€™ve ever had. Lovely ladies too! Highly recommend the curry goat, Jollof rice, and dumplings! Blessings

The starters arenโ€™t worth it except the jerk wings but the goat curry was so tasty and jollof rice is another level overall lush neal full of flavour
Small and simple eatery that could be easily over looked at the bottom of town that make up for it diminutive size by serving up big flavoured Afro Caribbean dishes cooked fresh every time. Good selection of well portioned dishes to pick from & the spiciness can be varied to please everyone. Food ca
Experienced Mama Ritaโ€™s food 3 times. Once ordering off Just Eat, once dining in, and once grabbing a takeaway. Firstly - The food is amazing every single time. No doubt about it. Mamaโ€™s Jallof rice is stunning, and me and my partner love the Jerk & Fried chicken. It is a little pricey, but worth it
Just had a fantastic lunch here - jerk chicken wings and rice were really good, and the pepper soup (with fish) was sensational! Really spicy, and bursting with flavour! Lots of other really interesting things on the menu to try next time, but that soup is probably going to be a repeat order every t
Delicious food, friendly and polite staff. Can be a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Small restaurant so booking a table is a good idea. Not had a meal there haven't enjoyed both eat in and delivery the standard stays great. Goat curry all the way! Don't forget to add a dumpling, they are lush! ๐Ÿ˜‹
