Really good breakfasts hot and fresh
I've been here many times and there is always consistently good honest well priced and tasty food. Roasts and their, liver and bacon, are very good value.
Only comment is that I always order a coffee with the meal and too many times it's forgotten, very odd.
Lovely little place . Only ever had the breakfasts but food is always good always very clean . Staff are always friendly. Great little cafe

We've been wanting to try this place during our week's holiday staying at RWY and finally on our last day we did,I wish we would have gone in sooner as I'm sure we would have eaten there most days. It was a Sunday lunchtime and every seat filled but dropped lucky as a family left just as we arrived. The lady thoroughly cleaned our table and we ordered and paid at the counter which we liked as I absolutely hate asking for the bill at the end of a meal so it was nice to be all paid up straight from the off although I understand some people like to pay after but this personally worked for us. They had run out of chicken which was fine so I had a large gammon roast dinner which was amazing! Fresh veg,loads of gravy and a yorkie! What more can you want from a Sunday lunch! I personally felt a bit awkward looking at the chalkboard menus that were situated behind other diners as I felt like I was looking at their food so a menu on the table would have been great but not enough to knock off a star. Also we knew we wanted a roast dinner so this wasn't really an issue. Overall we had a great experience here and the staff work really hard which I can appreciate as I have worked for many years in a small busy cafe. Well done Port O call! 👏

The breakfast at Port O Call is absolutely delicious and a good price. I would highly recommend trying a portion of the bubble & squeak. Well worth a visit.
My colleagues and I all love this place and come down for lunch quite often.
Food is hearty and I appreciate the vegetables. Really a square meal that will make you happy and see you through the day. Plus can take large portion, or a small portion, so you won’t go hungry.
The price is right and all together keeps us coming back.
I was staying in b&b down the road. I called in at 6 pm one night. What a gem. I work away from home so it’s hard to get a proper home cooked meal, at a reasonable price. I had slow cooked steak in read wine gravy. Absolutely delightful. We’ll done ladies.

Iv popped in here a few times now when I'm working in the area and I'll be definitely going back. Iv only had the large breakfast on each occasion but iv seen other customers eating a verity of different things from the menu and it all looks and smells really good. Very good quality and value for money 👍.

I popped in on the strength of the reviews. I'm so glad I did! Had a large roast pork dinner with homemade yorky and stuffing. Loads of gravy, it was delicious 😋 will be back!
Found this lovely cafe while wondering round Plymouth, it had a lovely friendly atmospher. Only had a coffee but the food looked tasty, fresh veg Yorkshire puddings, choice of meats and very reasonablly priced
We have been looking for a Sunday roast since we moved down to Plymouth and found port o call through friends!! Fantastic Sunday dinner! Great veg, meat stuffing fantastic yorkie pudding lush and the gravy was soooooo nice! We have returned to port o call for a breakfast it is fantastic and the bubble and squeak was well nice! gets very very busy here but the breakfast is we worth it! The staff are fantastic great food and welcoming place I recommend going
