My wife and I ate here on a recommendation went for the Sunday Carvery.Fantastic food, plenty of it at a great price. Wonderful attentive staff and a family friendly atmosphere. We would recommend this place to everyone
The Fuel menu at Heaven is a stroke of genius. Eat in or take away the price is unbeatable for fresh healthy food. Unlike most health food this menu tastes amazing.
Im very lucky to be able to call Heaven my local although this was my first time as i have just moved into the area. The staff are very pleasant, the venue is very welcoming and the food is marvellous. The alcohol is also very reasonably priced. I will most certainly be back soon thank you for such a lovely experience.
Heaven or also known as Fuel is a great location for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
It's a great choices for vegans, vegetarians or flexitarians (the meat eaters!)
They are tailored to educating you in knowing what you are eating which is fantastic!
Are you going through a dieting programme or an athlete in training? Need to know how much protein, carbs & fats you are eating? Well Fuel caters this all for you.
They also provide meal prepping for the week in take away boxes.
We called to book for a table at very short notice on a wet miserable Sunday and were very pleased they could fit us in. Two hungry adults and three hungry children! On arrival the restaurant is bright and pleasing to the eye. We noticed the carvery and it looked delicious! The waiter (sorry we didn't his name but he had a Scottish accent) was very helpful and accommodating in getting us settled. The carvery food did not disappoint. Four different joints of meat and lots of different FRESH veg to choose from (none of which were over cooked) and lovely homemade yorkies and gravy. It was delicious and we all polished it off. Unfortunately we had no room left for desert so I cannot comment on that. It was very reasonable and was told that under 5's eat free with a paying adult (his plate was full by the way). All in all a lovely meal, great value and really lovely service. Great job Heaven, we will be back!
Great service and quality tasty food. Now it's different review. I phoned on Sunday afternoon and was told no need to book for 5 people with the carvery. I said we would be there at 7:30pm andwas told that was fine. On arrival lights were out and no sign of any staff, although a sign was out on the pavement saying they were open until 9pm. Went to Miller & Carter ( the old China House instead and had a great time with excellent service.
The food and service are terrible at this place.
I tried this place because I saw there were several 5 star reviews.
Then I read a bit closer and the 5 star reviews were not what they seemed. Some seemed to be written by a person with an 8 year olds grasp of the English language, others had pushed the 5 star button and had a similar experience to me.
My food was some kind of uncooked mush. I don't know what nationality of cuisine they are aiming for, but they are making a good job of Inuit stale , uncooked seafood.
When we all complained about the food quality nothing happened. But looking back we were naive thinking it would.
Service was rude and unfriendly.
Stick clear of the warm mule's urine they serve as beer.
I had an amazing meal here the first time- i am veggie and the vegetarian option was gorgeous. However there was no choice for veggies- you just got what was the veggie meal of the day. My second visit was good but the main course was not great- I was served Mediterranean rice which I am convinced was an Uncle Ben's microwave in the bag one. The other courses were lovely and my companions enjoyed their meals as well- great value set menu and it was a Saturday night! That was a few months ago- the menu has changed and seems to have more than one veggie course now- although the price has gone up! I will be looking forward to my next visit- it is good value.
Excellent Sunday carvery. We chose this to support them after they had not charges veterans after Remembrance Sunday.
My only gripe was with the cauliflower cheese, it looked amazing and the cauli was beautifully cooked - but it was a white sauce with some cheese on top, much prefer a cheese sauce.
A very reasonably priced restaurant, (about £10 - 15 for lunch, or £25 - 30 for dinner, including soft drinks). Very convivial atmosphere, nicely decorated. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, without interrupting your meal. As a vegan I often find it hard to eat out; although Heaven is definitely an omnivorous restaurant they are incredibly helpful in making sure I'm able to have a delicious vegan meal, and to enjoy every course. Wonderful place!
The carvery at Heaven is the best carvery I have EVER had anywhere, anytime. The meat is the best quality meat, cooked to perfection, the range of vegetables is overwhelming and again all cooked to perfection with some lovely twists to them. The staff are all very accommodating and jolly. I cannot recommend this place enough. You must go, and on top of all of that it isn't expensive!
Not bad at all, the food was good and reasonably priced. Clean and tidy good service. A varied menu with eastern med food. I was midweek and quiet. I came upon it on the way to the cross channel ferry and was in too much of a hurry to do it justice. I would go again if I was in the area
