Must be the best Chinese in town, staff helpful, friendly and very cheerful, can't rate home delivery as it's so variable on how busy they are and the time you place your orders.
Fantastic value to money, my partner has a coupe of food allergies , if you speak to the staff they will remove the ingredients that harm, how many English restaurants would do that - none that I've found.

Really pleased with our first visit to Imperial Garden restaurant. The food was really delicious and the service great. Loved the decor, too, but could have done with a little more heating. We were disappointed with one dish, the marinated lamb, which we found very spicy, despite no chilli pepper on the menu to indicate how spicy it was. The staff were very understanding and courteous over this and we will definitely be back. Loved rhe Lemon Chicken!!
A wonderful Chinese with good selection of meals. We had a banquet with a couple of additional dishes and it was fabulous. The meat, seafood and vegetables were excellent quality and perfectly cooked, with lovely fluffy rice. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

I've eaten here a few times and love the range of vegan items on the menu! Staff are always friendly and good comes out in good time. I recommend trying the vegan chicken satay skewers!
After months of trying different restaurants on just eat, hungry house and deliveroo and being disappointed we decided to try Imperial Garden. The food arrived quicker than we were told, the delivery driver was friendly, the food was fresh, hot and very tasty! The vegetables were still crunchy and the portions were extremely generous! I've been searching for a good Chicken Kung Po for ages and the one I ate this evening was excellent.
I can honestly say that we have now found our regular Chinese restaurant.
I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my Chinese. This place is the only place in Plymouth where the food is truly authentic! Love it!

Had a lovely meal/lunch with my dad and partner. The food itself is done the same as quite traditional Chinese cuisine which of course we love and why we went here. I am half Chinese half English myself and think that because this is more traditional then what English people are used to, sometimes their can be a misunderstanding of the mannerisms used by Chinese people along with flavours that are more commonly seen in normal/common Chinese takeaways. So I would say this place is great for getting as close to proper Chinese food in the southwest as possible. Don't expect this to be another generic Chinese takeaway type place because it's not and that's a good thing.

Been ordering food from there since few months now. Though delivery takes time every time I have ordered food tastes fantastic and so delicious. We are vegetarian and they do have some nice vegan vegetarian food options. Prices are very competitive with huge portions. Total value for money, thanks. One disadvantage they only take cash so I especially get money withdrawn only to pay them. Thanks for amazing food.
Great vegan options available! Reasonable prices as well. Staff cheekily took the service charge (over 10%) without checking with us though - would’ve been fine but service was a bit bit and miss at times.

Can see why this restaurant won the best restaurant in the Devon. Their food it just that tasty! Been trying to find restaurant that sell authentic Chinese cuisine and this place does them. Some authentic options may not be avaliable on the English menu as they also have a Chinese menu, but we couldn't choose the Chinese menu at the time because they were way too busy and from their review comments, only one chef knows how to make them?
Anyway, I enjoyed the food here like, reminds myself what I used to eat in London Chinatown and Hong Kong.
Will return another time and have the "mince pork and aubergine" 鱼香茄子煲 as they sadly ran out of aubergine...

Lovely inviting atmosphere, helpful friendly staff who guided us as what foods went best together. attentive but not so they were a nuisance. Large servings freshly cooked. Well priced for the amount of food .Willbe back

Not many restaurants were opened at 10pm and stumbled across this place with friends for a takeaway. Was completely blown away by the flavours, has to be one of the best Chinese I’ve had. Highly recommend the house special rice, Kung po chicken and double cooked pork belly. Establishment was clean (especially the toilets, got to be the cleanest toilet I’ve ever seen in a restaurant). Service was also fast and staff were friendly!
Lovely food with a plethora of unusual dishes to choose from. The crispy beef in Peking sauce was a highlight.
Only downside was that they took forever to clear our table when we'd finished our mains; probably down to a staff shortage

Great prices, delicious food and fair portions.
