First visit to this newish Nandos in Plymouth, located right inside the Barcode building complete with multi storey car parking.
We had our usual grilled halloumi for starters then butterfly chicken and sides for main which was very good except that there was more chicken skin on the portions than normal, however the seared corn and macho peas were excellent sides.
The order was done via the Nandos QR code on the table which brought up the menu, this was very easy to order and pay from.
The servers were friendly and attentive, the restaurant relatively new and was spotlessly clean.
Really nice change from a normal burger experience.
I'm not a lover of spices so chose the mild option and it was a taste bud explosion.
Food wasn't cheap but it is very well presented and tastes great.
You also pay for one drink and it's unlimited refills.
My first ever Nandos 🤩 very tasty, the chicken and hallomi pitta was so juciy and tasty, the piri salted chips were perfect, not hot just flavoursome. Would definitely return
It's Nando's, so it's not exactly a la carte, hence 3* for the food. To be honest, I think for the price we paid (£49.75 for 3 meals and a drink) the portions needed to be bigger. So that was another reason for 3*. The service wasn't bad, but we had to wait for a while to get our drinks. The food turned up at the same time in the end. The atmosphere was ok. I think it would be nice to be asked if there's a particular table you'd like to be seated at when it's quiet. Perhaps that could be a thing.
Came here over the weekend with my friend and my children. We were seated really quickly by a friendly server. Once the food was ordered which didn't take long, we waited about 10 mins and it arrived at the table. Really tasty, hot and correct. We love this nandos other branches we have been are rubbish compared to here
The food was really delicious with yummy vegetarian options, however they were out of stock on a lot of options (they didn't have any mushrooms for any of thier mushroom dishes!!). The staff were very kind however and offered us each a free bottomless drink.
The staff are amazing. They clearly need a pay rise. It was lovely to see young people who work there put so much much effort in to the customer service. Food was on point. Atmosphere was marked down due to screaming kids and some random judgemental unkind remarks from someone that sat near us.
Much more spacious then the barbican nandos, doesn't feel as crowded. Husband loved the loaded fries and said it will become his go to. Great staff, no difference in customer service between the two both amazing service.
Always love the good and service here. Quick service as always. Entrance is at the back of the barcode which makes it a bit confusing for first timers, tables could be placed a bit further apart to avoid chair clashing from two adjacent tables. Otherwise great good and quick service as always from Nando's
Wanted to try out nando’s UK , so decided to lunch at this place .
Ambiance was good a little bit crowded when I visited ( it was a weekend and lunch time 🙊)
Amazing service .
From starters I tried hummus and peri peri drizzle - I loved that the hummus isn’t very creamy It was served with hot roasted pita which was soft and delicious.
For mains I choose the chicken butterfly with creamy potato and saucy spinach by the side ( I had the extra hot flavor ) I loved it it was flavorful and the chicken was perfectly done juicy and succulent . And for drinks I opted the beer :) well not all nando’s serve it so had to go for it .
Will definitely go back for more . So far the best nando’s I hv tried .
