Friendly, clean public house with a decent bar crew.. visited on Karaoke evening and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the singers and organiser. Would benefit from a refurbishment to help what appears to be a very decent establishment
Great home cooked Sunday lunch, plenty of fresh veg and lovely gravy. The cauliflower cheese was good.
Was very surprised to be entertained in the afternoon with some live music, nice way to end the weekend.
Went for first time in years. We were a large party. The food was absolutly lovely, hot and plentiful. My only complaint would be the lack of bar staff. One lady to serve drinks, take food orders, deliver food orders as well as look after all the take out firms that were coming and going. But despite that would certainly go again.

Turned up for a last drink after a Navy reunion. The last drink turned out to be 4 of them. Beer was good, service excellent and the booked singer, she was superb. Nice to see there are still some great pubs still going in Plymouth
I love the Walrus. The bar staff and the general happiness and connection with all the other customers is great. Karaoke on a Thursday is fab with regular singers. Just need an offer of free shot for everyone that songs 🙂
