Really fun and challenging. To find it you need to go through the junk shop and up the creaky old stairs to the café, and the escape rooms are in doors off of the café. The room we did was really dirty and dusty (might be on purpose to add to the atmosphere). It was really good fun though.

This was our groups first attempt at an escape room. I think it definitely taught us a lot about each other. And how important working together is. The price may at first seem a little steep, but it's worth the challenge and spending time with good friends as you truly learn a different side of those closest to you. Huge thanks to Blair (hope that is the name dude) as well, for being a fantastic host, barman and for having energy that kept the room buzzing. Especially considering you were covering another persons shift. Great job. And great job The Old Morgue.i won't reveal anything here, but sometimes the obvious clues are the correct ones 🤣😂

Went here with a few friends last week. We had such a great time! The host was absolutely amazing, so friendly and actually checks in on you whilst doing the escape room to offer help if you need it. Considering he was running all rooms on his own, he was so attentive. We loved the room so much we came back the next day to have a crack at another one! Would highly recommend.

If you want a truly original, bespoke and memorable experience, try one of their amazing games. It's the original Escape-room experience, unlike the many copied national chains, this place is unique... If you fancy a tip top team building experience, look no further. Friendly staff and full of atmosphere... 10/10 👌👌👌👌

These escape rooms are relatively small but that doesn't impact the games themselves. They are well thought out and designed. I took a group of students here and we successfully managed to escape. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Last time we went was about 3/4 years ago! So this was a great way to get back out and exploring with friends! There are currently 4 games to choose from with others being made and built! The staff are friendly and helpful and explain how the game works before you go in. The clues are obvious but challenging at the same time! So you would have something listed so you would see where it goes but still have to work out the answer and it was definitely ones to use your brain for! There are codes to decipher, visual aids to use, places to look in and discover and actual team work is helpful! As one of them couldn't be seen by one member of the team do we all had to try to see it and work it out together! Surprisingly we all worked well together and there were no arguements 🤣 Can't wait to go back and try the other rooms!

Great fun and very well thought out puzzles. The overall vibe is shabby un-chic - a little like a nicer-end 2nd-hand shop but that works well, I think.

Very enjoyable time spent completing one of the escape rooms here. Easily passed the time and was very satisfying to complete. The room offered a variety of different puzzles to be completed which allowed the team to break down and work on puzzles that played to their strengths. Will return to try the other rooms here for sure.

So it's not exactly where it says on the map, but actually just round the corner, closer to the main road. That said, great little place with fun game rooms. We completed the game in just under the hour with no tips and so felt the level was pitched very well. The bar is also very nice to just chill out in before and after. Would definitely recommend.

We escaped from the Bizzaro room, which was a good balance between challenging and fun. The few hints we got were useful and the staff were very friendly. It would have been nice if there had been a slight discount per person considering there were 6 of us, but I would definitely recommend the rooms!

Not quite knowing what to expect after having The Escape Rooms Plymouth recommended to us by a friend. We were pleasantly surprised with how much fun this was! After completing Germ, we will definitely be back to tackle one of the other rooms, and maybe even participate in one of the Friday night quizzes. Also a big thank you to Dan, our host for the evening

Five of us completed the 'Germ' escape room, sometime ago, at the Old Morgue in Plymouth. This was the first time any of us had tried an escape room. It was an enjoyable experience and we agreed that we would do another escape sometime in the future, (probably not here). Although the overall experience was okay we felt that the rooms were very sparce and the props were well worn and not in good repair. Some photos out of their frames, items broken and tatty. This place feels as though it has been flung together and certainly not been maintained. The £20 price tag seemed a bit steep for the condition of the venue and its unkept appearence. As I said, this was our first attempt and we have nothing to judge it against but it does need some things renewing and updating. Would I recommend? ? Yes, but I'm sure you could find better. Experienced escapees would walk this room and probably feel a little disappointed. Overall we did enjoy ourselves.

Had a great time doing the escape room. Place located in Old Morgue on Manor Street. Not obvious from road, but need to go through second hand shop and upstairs. Did the easiest room, which for first timers was a good test. Will be back to try another!

Situated in the Old Morgue off of Union Street, Escape Rooms offers fun for all. Having been and tried 3 of the 4 themed rooms, all the groups I went with had fun. The puzzles can be challenging and cater to all types of thinkers. There is a bar for drinks before hand/after and the staff send you a link to your group photo after the event - provided you give the correct email and check folders in your inbox. It is a great time out and I recommend all to try.

No pics of this as I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone. If you've never done an Escape Rooms before I'd definitely recommend it. It's a lot of fun. Great for team building with work colleagues, friends/family.. for forget to wear your thinking caps ☺

Very well put together. Great challenges (we were rubbish at it) but this didn't take anything away from the fun and joy of the activity. Authentic rooms very well put together and range of puzzles to solve.
