Very nice, they do all sorts, I enjoy there Haddock with a regular chips.
Then when at home, its plenty of tomato sauce and a slice of bread and butter.

Update March 2023:
The quality of the food seems to have gone down hill recently. We first noticed this when the chicken kebab changed. This has definitely put me off getting it. We now tend to get a mix with the kebab shop a couple of doors down. Definate fall from grace.

One of the best chip shops I've been to in Plymouth, we've had quite a few things here since the new management, all of which were excellent. Definitely one of the nicest kebabs I've had in a looong time, even better that it's with proper chips. Here's hoping the standards are maintained.

I had the absolute pleasure of having fish and chips today and they were absolutely Devine the batter light and airy fish cooked to perfection and the best chips I have had for a very long time complete with fresh lemon I definitely recommend this chip shop I will definitely be back oh and the standard of cleaning is excellent thank you very much

It's been great for some time now. The batter is crispy and tasty, the fish is really good. Chips are chips to me but they are done well not burnt or taste of oil. Very very good.

Mariners deserve to win awards for cleanliness and product consistency - I’ve NEVER had a bad takeout from these guys and believe me, I’m easily disappointed by food products that are great once and then never again. My friends and family would agree with this review. Keep up the great work guys!

Working away and having to have takeaways is always a gamble, but this place was outstanding. Lovely piece of fish and a mixture of soft and crispy chips. Definitely one of the best chippys I've been to and if I was working in Plymouth again I'd definitely go back.
