We adore this coffee shop! It is a pleasure to support Finla from a business to a business, as well as from a family to a family. We hold many of our business meetings here and stand with Finla in supporting local businesses. The coffee is good, the food is fantastic and the staff are lovely.

Had a lovely breakfast here on Monday morning. I had the Finla full English breakfast and tea with oat milk. I didn't want eggs and they kindly offered me anything I'd like instead? I chose extra tomato and mushroom! I was very happy about that. The bacon was thick and delicious. The sausages were really impressive and meaty and were the best part. The toast and beans were nice, but just standard really. The tomatoes and mushrooms were delicious and the big flat mushrooms were very good and full of flavour. Tea was very nice and had a little bottle of oat milk served with it. Very nicely presented on the plates. My partner has same breakfast but with the eggs and she was delighted as they were poached in the spinny-water way and perfectly cooked. She had a late and rated her meal and coffee as perfect. Friendly staff too. Not the cheapest breakfast ive had but possibly the best value for money as the whole experience was very high quality. We are going to go again for sure.

Very welcoming and lovely coffee and food. Love the fact that they respect peoples choice and stand for freedom. We fully support the owners and staff for staying open during lockdown restrictions. We will definitely be visiting again. Stand strong x

I went to this cafe last night as a group of 7,for their Christmas special meal, £30 for three courses with coffee and truffle at the end. We loved the plastic free alternatives to the Christmas crackers. The food was great and our host for the evening was attentive but not intrusive. With the ability to take your own drinks (No corkage charge) it was a well priced evening. We were able to sit, chat and catch up with out the feeling of being in a rowdy pub. Well done to the team at Finla.

We were staying in Plymouth last week on holiday, visited Plympton, and other surrounding areas. I was hungry and went into Finla coffee shop. Well the breakfast my husband ordered was amazing, talk about value for money. I opted for the Pancakes, just lush. As for the coffee it was so lovely and not burnt like other places we have been on our travels. Will definitely be returning.

Had a breakfast here today...I am a fussy eater due to having a fantastic cook/wife at home so standards are set high. Just little things that count like using real butter on toast not spread ugh! Proper thick butchers sausage, granary bread, well cooked hash brown, a poached egg but trimmed without all the scabby tail. A nice coffee and good service! Definitely recommend!

This is an independent local business which obviously has quality at it's heart. Thick cut bacon with proper meaty, butcher's type sausages and perfectly poached eggs. The coffee is first rate, as is the service. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area, in fact, I'll make sure I'm in the area so that I can return

Popped in to grab a latte to kick start my day and it was the best latte I have ever tasted it was perfect temperature not lava or not warm just perfect, the staff were super friendly and welcoming plus the sweet treats are delicious. People who leave a bad review on here are pessimist so take no notice, this is the best coffee shop in Plymouth.

Gym then a bacon sandwich and coffee...why not ? We've visited a few times and consistency is the key. Coffee is always good and nice food. Chilled atmosphere with FREE parking in the local car park. Need I say more !

The only complaint you can ever have about this place is that everything is so tasty you just want more. Nice decor. Great service. I sometimes wish they'd open earlier but if they haven't got enough clientele at that sort of time it's understandable.

Myself and a friend visited yesterday trialing their fairly new breakfast menu. We both had eggs benedict with a side of avocado which was delicious as served with bacon instead of ham and the sauce was neither salty or smothered the dish. My latte was deliciously silky and flavoursome that I had two! (I seem to be fussy with my latte and most places don'the suit my taste). It was a perfect place to catch up with a friend for a whole 2 hours and not feel pressured to vacate. Perfect. Thank you.

One of the best hot chocolates I've had. Friendly staff and a comprehensive menu (though I didn't have time to sample it).
