In a busy little town with plenty of options I still find myself frequenting this establishment most Fridays for lunch. The coffee is delightful and the food is delicious. A nice touch is the "Sanwhich of the week" which never disappoints. The service is prompt and perhaps it's because I enter with a smile but I always get one In return.
I absolutely love the sandwiches here!! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but that doesn't matter, food is good and they do food well. There's probably 2 dozen different sandwich combinations you can get, all for under 5£, most usually 3£ or less. ALWAYS pay the fee pence more for the CRUSTY bread.
They also sell and assortment of pasties, drinks and many different kinds of sweet, cookies, desserts, ect.
1 of the best bakers I've found, I just happened to be working nearby and popped in for some lunch - I'm only disappointed that I live 200 miles away, otherwise I would be in there everyday! I had a sandwich, a sausage roll and a bit of cake, all excellent
Really good quality food at cheap prices. the lady behind the counter was friendly and there was a huge choice of desserts. It doesn't look like much from the outside but if you're looking for a takeaway lunch, go here.

The food for me has always been excellent. Try the sausage rolls they are delicious. The salad boxes have always plenty in them, in cooler months the soups are fantastic.
Best place for lunch on the go in Pocklington! Large Sandwich menu and the crusty bread is a right winner! Sausage rolls, salad bar and all priced extremely well!
I've never been so excited about a sandwich! Proper size bread bap with cheese and the apple and real ale chutney...Delicious! And So much friendlier than the other deli

Excellent food, myself andany colleagues use this daily and are always impressed. It's even better in winter when they make soup. Well worth a visit, you wont be disappointed and it is so cheap for what you get.
THE place to go for a take out lunch in Pocklington! Legendary sandwiches in lovely fresh 'crusty's' with a fantastic range of fillings! Delicious homemade sausage rolls and savouries too and even a range of home-baked ready meals! (All this and I haven't even mentioned the cakes yet!) If you're in Pocklington - go here!
Great food and friendly staff. It can get quite busy at lunch times though so be prepared for a slight wait. The sausage rolls are excellent.

I travel 25 miles regularly just to visit John's bakery. Literally the best baked goods in Yorkshire. 'nuff said.
Three best sandwiches and salad boxes, the cakes are to die for and all the staff a brilliant, cannot recommend enough!
